Well it's a heartfelt tribute to Chynna's mom and her mom's late bandmates in The Mamas and the Papas.
The background vocals of Wendy and Carnie are marvelous. The lead vocal of Chynna is riveting.

I believe that the Wilson sisters as all the talent in this group I understand that they are all folklore history if their parents who they were, however with that being said I think Michelle Phillips had a better voice than her own daughter and not to be mean but even Mackenzie Phillips Phillips his first daughter from his first marriage was not only an actress but she also was able to sing as well and actually had a much better voice honestly they were better off pairing up with Mackenzie Phillips she definitely had a better voice that much more modest personality to match the two sisters again only my opinion she tries to scream over the two of them I find it really rude!

Hold On is in my all-time top 10 songs.

Great job for a live performance not in a sound studio. Its one of the reasons the Beatles stopped touring.....they couldn't match the sound in the studio on the road.
