Louise Harrison is one of the nicest people in the world. She send me an autographed copy of her book about the Beatles. I took that as a real honor. I have met her many times and enjoyed so much her stories of George and the Beatles. I have a picture of her and I taken several years ago when we went to see the Liverpool Legends in Branson, Missouri. I wish I could post it for you. :)
Met her in pasadena california at liverpool days with micky dolenz and pete best and fab four very nice lady gave me a hug and said this hug is from george to you, had been a year and she and I cried
Nobody could know what the Beatles would become, a cultural revolution and cultural icons. Their ambitions were small in comparison or say normal ambition so to speak, they becoming a world phenomenon was not in their plans.
The book is a very worthwhile read. Louise came along in the 'housewife' era. In later times she would have been a professional woman, perhaps a financially more successful promoter/manager. She has done some of that and done it well, though might have made more money in contemporary times. George gave her an annual $20,000 stipend so she wouldn't have to marry again, but his widow, Olivia, shamelessly cut that off. How about stepping up, Dhani? After all you only inherited like a third of a billion.
rbmindful why do people with money act like this it’s his sister, I heard George only gave her £2000 a month still ok but like u say all they millions, she’s old and that too
I met her at a Beatles cover concert type thing. She she was extremely cool no pretence. She loves her her brother . l asked about the the Beatles wives but there was no way. I wanted to hear about cat fights.🎇🇺🇸

Louise Harrison is a delightful person and such a great ambassador for Beatleworld.
I met her several years ago while at her beatles remake band, she was a really nice woman.
Louise Harrison passed away last month (1/29/23) at age 91-92.
wow! she still has her Liverpool Accent.
But not so strong anymore.
@@SuperAnimelover100 That was the doubt I had because I didn't know she had moved to the US in the 60's.

Before George passed away, he gave Louise an income/money to live on. After, he passed, Olivia stopped the money to Louise.
@@RustyRules426 where did you get this information? I believe you but just wondering. :)

That was cold of Olivia.
Jesus Olivia is a monster like Yoko is
That's George's sister why must they treat her like an outcast
RIP
She is probably the main reason the Beatles were successful.
I wonder if her brother Harry is still living?
Maybe they are dead
Think so.

I think George was called 'the quiet one' because he rarely sang in any of their songs. George had more spontaneous wit than John.
No wonder she doesn't have that strong Scouse accent because she moved to the US long, long ago.
Shes the big brother?
She really messed up bad.
She and George were estranged for years.
She made it sound like they were close.
Older Brother!!???....
Both work for George. One now deceased, other retired.
To my friends and I ,The Beatles were already musical heroes to us before Sullivan.
She is sitting there in front of her
"Imagine this 0:45 ..she's the older Brother of Beatle George Harrison!? no I find it difficult to imagine as she's a woman...
George had Covid-19 that timem 😂😂😂
She has died, unfortunately.
