The Mystery Hour began in the original basement theatre of the Skinny Improv as a conspicuously fake tv show. Over five pre-televised seasons, it grew through grassroots word of mouth to become an underground phenomenon.
Now with an Emmy win, 3 Emmy nominations, syndication on multiple FOX networks, and live audiences of 700+ people, The Mystery Hour is in its seventh season on television. Hosted by "Mystery" Jeff Houghton, the show features fascinating guests, incredible music, and hilarious comedy sketches. George was always my favorite and his sister seems just like him, sweet and kind. (I also think he was vastly underrated. His music was brilliant!)

What a lovely lady. I would love to know more about George's two brothers(Harold & Peter), whom I understand, are still living. They appear very briefly at the start of Martin Scorsese's "living in the material world'. It's odd that they weren't featured more in that documentry. Maybe they had nothing new to offer, but they must have some stories to tell.
Andy, one died. Harry,I believe. They both worked for George on his property. Peter should be retired by now.
I believe they were actually years apart. Pretty much like a decade or so, they were grpwn by the time George became famous.
It’s amazing how she hasn’t lost her English accent after living in the States for so long. I hope Olivia Harrison is looking after her financially.
I heard she was getting 2000 a month from George to live on and a year after he died his widow cut it off. So let’s see, he was worth close to 400 million when he died and he was giving his sister 2000 a month to live on? Jeez , talk about cheap..
@@vanillacreem816 yes she got it rough from George and his family but worth is different than real tangible money. The Harrison family is extremely rich, don’t get me wrong, but they don’t have $400 million dollars.
@@alexpollock6932 Alex, yeah I understand. That fortune is not all liquid. But I just don’t get how they could be so close as brother and sister as supposedly they were and he gave her a measly “allowance” like that to live on. Money does strange things to people, that’s for sure.

She is so cool! Met her in St. Louis. Also slightly bossy which is good in my opinion. She definitely knew l loved George! Probably 2002. Trust me she's neat. We had such fun.

The book is a very worthwhile read. Louise came along in the 'housewife' era. In later times she would have been a professional woman, perhaps a financially more successful promoter/manager. She has done some of that and done it well, though might have made more money in contemporary times. George gave her an annual $20,000 stipend so she wouldn't have to marry again, but his widow, Olivia, shamelessly cut that off. How about stepping up, Dhani? After all you only inherited like a third of a billion.

George didn't left her money in testament. She had some business at that time.
Like he would care about his Aunt. He’s selfish and cares only about himself. She’s deceased now so it’s a moot point.
@@dynjarren8355 Dhani is a great guy by all accounts and I'm sure he cared about his aunt. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him until you..how would you possibly know that he "only cares about himself"?? Sources please.. I seriously doubt you have any, just a trolling asshole!

I thought she married. Did she marry a Mr Harrison. I hope she made money from the book before she died. Amazing how she takes credit for promoting the group in the US. I’ve read and seen many docs and never heard this.
