Wow. The TH-cam algorithm finally let me break through the US based videos wall and gave me something useful! Thank you! I've needed this video for ages.
I'm brand new to playing didgeridoo's. How will I know what size mouthpiece is correct for my lips? Thanks for all the tutorials! I'm slowly watching all of them. By the way my mouthpiece is plastic, not bee's wax.
@@chrisrawls3766 hi dear Chris, welcome to the didge world. I’m happy to hear you found my channel. Keep enjoying! if your mouthpiece is around 2.8cm in diameter it should be fine. Do you have a Meinl didge? ❤️☀️🎶
@@DidgeMama I have 2 didge's. One is a 5 & a half foot Agave with a 3.0cm wood mouthpiece, a perfect circle. The other is a 2ft didge from Africa with a 3.8cm opening and beeswax. On the agave I try to vibrate my lips on the outside of the mouthpiece but I can't make a airtight seal because my nose hits the mouthpiece. I tried using bee wax but it wont stick to the mouthpiece on the Agave. Thanks for any help.
Hello Didge Mama. I bought some bees wax, but I can't work with it. It is very crumbly and, as it cools, seems to form large crystals that don't want to stick together. Do you have any ideas why this is?
Hi dear Peter, thank you for your question. If it was fully liquid sometimes it does that, so if you have more, and this was the case, try another time and just make it pliable. And if not you probably bought some ‘weird’ beeswax. You can always send me a little video to my gmail address, so I can have a look. ❤️☀️🎶
Thanks for your reply, Didge Mama. I'm wondering if what you use is mixed with oil. I did try this, and it helped, but I think I will need quite a bit more oil to get it to become pliable. Have you tried this?
Thanks for your question. If you get tiny blisters on your lips, you are allergic to beeswax. But if it is a numb feeling, it’s just your lips getting used to all the movements and the extra blood flowing to them, if you play a long time in one go. So see if what is it in your case. ❤️🎶☀️
@@DidgeMama No, i never tryed doing that to my Didjeridoo. I don't have a lot of $$$ to pay someone to Mess with it....maybe something in the beeswax made by so called killer bees?
@@robertszymanski717 I understand, you can also just put paraffin on it, drip a normal candle on the beeswax until it is completely covered. That should do the trick. Good luck ❤️🎶☀️
@@jyotishmanlahkar4978 great stuff my brother! Yes there is some things to gain with better lip control and then you can work on Circular Breathing. Where are you, so we can see when is a good time to connect
Yes that works fine too. But then you have to make sure to dry the beeswax perfectly. But if you don’t have a hairdryer, it is the best solution, I think!🙏❤️
Thanks, I just found that I can buy honey with its wax and with some process I can get the pure bee wax :) I didn’t found in our shop beewax and some time i need it immediately

I am so happy!!!
I hope you enjoy my other videos too. Sending love and light
Ohhhh wow! 2.8 mine appears to be 3.1. No wonder the entirety of my lips are in the didge 🤣🤣
If you have really big lips, 3.1 is fine. But if not, a bit smaller is better.
Thank you so much for this ! You're my star.
Oh, nice to meet you !
You are so very welcome!!!🙏🎶☀️❤️

@@peterhammond7535 I don’t think the oils is a good idea, because then it won’t stick. Should be pure. The right heating is the key. Good luck 🍀👍

Use boiling water, mix 50/50 with cold water, will also soften wax too. Love sister 💓 Namaste

Can I get wax from normal candle for didgeridoo?
Yes you can!!!
But better beeswax. Because the other wax is a bit hard and brittle.
