Great pickup Bob! Scanning books is great for speed, but having specialized knowledge of books is still going to help you pick up amazing books that Amazon FBA sellers will miss!
I would have been just as geeked out to find the Amazon dude’s throw back. I love selling books too! You inspired me to do so. I sell lots of old bibles with great luck. People over look them. Jesus sells!!😂
Nice score on the Goldfinch book. Crazy that that ended up in the Bins. The FBA shoppers are interesting to follow behind. Besides what they don't pick up, I'm sometimes surprised at what they do pick up. The metrics with their volume game are so different from what I'd find interesting to sell though. The recent Media Mail increase is disappointing. It's gotten to where I upgrade to Ground Advantage for some sales (under 8 oz) if the buyer in a closer zone because it costs less than shipping Media Mail. Bundle discounts are definitely a good goal. I don't do free shipping, but do offer deeply discounted shipping on additional items.
I find the Amazon FBA business model fascinating. I tried and failed but those that can do it successfully deserve all their flowers. USPS prices get raised every year, I just roll with it.
@@B0BBuys Yeah, it was the double increase this year that stung. MM prices went up in January and then again in July. Ugh! Wish they would give us a year off. After all, it's for educational materials. LOL!

Your time to list a book on eBay is worth more than $.59!
In July I sold a NWT pair of winter gloves…to somebody in Miami, in the middle of summer. Ya never know when something will sell!

He does indeed. There is a bible specific seller here so I don't find them at the bins too often. I'm so glad you are selling books too!

To make roughly $60k a year it’s $0.49 per minute 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year 😊
