My wires are not like that? But I did charge it and put it back on. That seems to have worked for now.

Awesome my blue common wire was tucked and wrapped around other wires in the wall the electrician also Nest installation did not finish I took it off my wallto return it and when I pulled the wires out I found the blue wire myself way to go nest I can learn everything on TH-cam 😂

Thank you for video. Worked for me, just had to attach the blue wire in the back and started working perfectly.

n addition to the 24V wire, make sure under pro settings the use of fan is activated.. I activated it and now my nest has no delay at all.

Hey Jay. Can you please tell me where I can find the pro settings? I couldn't find it in the app nor on the thermostat itself except Pro settings that required a Pro ID #.

Tap the thermostat you'd like to control from the home screen.
      Tap the Fan icon.
Select how long you'd like your fan to run. If you have a multi-speed fan, you'll be able to select your fan speed.
Tap Start to run your fan.

I was suspecting this as well because my nest heats a little then goes into delayed mode. I bought 7 wire but I am waiting for thanks giving holiday to fish wire the new 7 wire over 4 wire old one.

But why does it take 55 min to get to 78 that’s with what I’m dealing with it can just do it right away ?

      Love &Hope because delay mode
Controller battery not fully charged it takes power from cooling on off input
To make sure that is the issue
Flip wire on starts cooling with heat and set heat to higher temp than your controller reads you will see it will comes on and because you flipped wiring it set to heat but actually it will cool and your temperature will start dropping

It failed, hours wasted, rotton support, why on earth do you need 2 apps. Simple programable saves time and dollars. You were warned.
