Just bought a new simplex, and then a used but looks new anfibio and a new mars 7” coil with the wireless headphones for 520 bucks lol watched this video i bet 5-10 times as well as all your others and feel very comfortable with it and it’s not even here yet lol. Been messing with the simplex and I do what you do switch back and forth between modes. Can’t wait for the anfibio, I have found a thimble, belt buckle but not one silver coin man!! It’s coming though! I really like when ya show the target before ya dig it, even if it’s not live dug it’s cool seeing what it rings up at before. I’ve skipped a few of the targets I’ve now seen you dig where it’s jumpy and think that’s where I’m going wrong. Anyhow thanks SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!! Appreciate the base settings!! Hopefully my anfibio will be here by the weekend I’m not sure the way the mail has been running with this virus going around. Stay healthy and keep digging!! ✊

Been at this for 12 years Vaquero, Sovereign and Gold Bug Pro DP was my latest and advised my nephew who is a newbie to get a Simplex and he has been smoking hot with the Simplex so I bought the Anfibio but was getting discouraged as I found it very noisy. My last hunt with my nephew I used the Gold bug. Last night I Watched your videos and was encouraged and went out this morning and did so much better in the 5 tone mode and dug 2 nice silver King George's 1950 quarter and 1949 dime along with modern coins. Very informative video. Thank you very much!!! Is there any good underwater setting for hi mineralize black sand with few hot rocks? Got disappointed first time using it in the salt water comparing it with my Excalibur or equinox... Amfibio seems to struggle locking up targets on the default beach mode. Would be grateful if you can help me man.

@@darnellhelloworldmetaldete9823 seen the new video you made and thank you for your time but the tip of changing from beach mode to 3 tones to help the machine ground balance in a high mineralised black sand in the salt water does not work! So far guys that tried it in the salt water did not managed to use it and returned to other waterproof detectors! Works great on land and dry sand but that's basically it :(
Darnell, Nice video. Very informative. I've noticed the coils appear identical on the two machines. Could you test and see if the Anfibio coil works properly on the Simplex. I would like to get the 9×5 coil for my Simplex. I had read elsewhere that they do. Thank You Terry
No...the Anfibio coil will not work on the Simplex...2 different detectors...optional coils will be coming for the Simplex but the Anfibio coil and Simplex coil is not interchangeable...
I wish they had gone with a numeric depth gauge NUMBER on pinpoint (put the number inside the bullseye), and a number instead of the depth bar on the main screen. I do not have either detector, but that is one feature I love on the Anfibio is the numeric depth gauge. Is the faceplate on the simplex replaceable? I notice some scratches on there already, I guess you can get a cover or use Cell Phone protectors? Would be nice if they would use Gorilla Glass 6 or something like that on detector controllers (thanks TheHunterGT)
Good video Darnell. One question for u. On the Anfibio have u had any high tone signals that originally beep when u first swing over the target. But then while trying to determine if it's a good target the high tone sound starts to flare out or fade out. Like gets weaker. Are these deep iron or trash trying to fool the machine? Thanks for any and all insight.
Yes I have heard a high tone and it is deep iron and sometimes its resetting but if you cross check that target with your EUD feature or switch over to deep mode you will see the VDI jump either super high above 97 or it will drop to the 30 ,40 it will be very jumpy indicating a trash target or deep iron
That's very informative. I was looking at a 2nd hand waterproof detector. I have a pi machine, but no discrimination on that one, so was thinking of trading in my x-terra 705 for something that I also could use in the water.

Anfibio is deeper more stable on VDI a better new design coil and better technology on the Anfibio although the Impact is still an awesome detector but technology has advanced
Hey Darnell you said the modes change in depth? Can you tell me the depths again? Just got the anfibo and would like to set it up for a good starting point, I got the basics just wanna know about getting the best depth out of each mode
Depth depends on ground conditions you won't get the same max depth in every soil conditions your deepest mode will be deep mode then 5 and 4 tone...4 tone is a little more sensitive and a bit chatty 3 tone is your fastest mode but not deep like your deep mode or 4 and 5 tone so depending on your soil will determine your depth I have medium to harsh soil and can get a consistent depth in my 5 tone program of about 10 to 11 inches but have hit deeper at 12 to 14 inches...
question on the simplex you said one of the setting was for frequencies but i thought it was set in a standard 12 khz also when you do the pinpoint dose it show the depth in inches
Yes Frequencies to change from interference from another detector that's close by or interference from your pinpointer...its a standard 12khz detector and the depth is shown by bars to indicate depth and also a bullseye that also shows depth the more of the bullseye you see determine depth if you see just a dot from the bullseye it's a surface target the more lines you see on the bullseye the deeper the target...hope that helps

Yes they did put the saved settings in the new update...I really don't use all metal mode I'm sure other might use it when they get their Simplex i just never used all metal mode on any of my detectors

No...the Anfibio coil will not work on the Simplex...2 different detectors...optional coils will be coming for the Simplex but the Anfibio coil and Simplex coil is not interchangeable...

Sir, a football sized metal buried in the ground, 100 cm deep, can this product be detected? I've been focusing on this product.
I'm not sure I personally haven't experienced that so I can't say for but being the deep detector it is and a target that size I would say it could...

Only after market headphones you can use are wired headphones if you want to use wireless headphones it will have to be Nokta/Makro headphones...

Its possible...20khz is for small silver coins and gold...but I have found gold in 5khz

You have version 2.62. If you update to 2.67 and or 8, the machine will save your settings after you turn off.
Yes it will save your settings but I didn't update mine not much to adjust to save I can remember a setup on the Simplex
