It was a truly unique film. The world building is also interesting, because it feels like our planet but nothing seems familiar. Some jerks I know says it looks like “video game graphics” but once you look beyond that, it’s an interesting experience.
It`s a very rare thing, when nova days, movie can tell a story without famous voiceovers or actors, or human language at all. Yet, it bring me so much emotions, I saw it on the end of the august.
This is a brilliant review. Exactly what I experienced when I saw it. My girlfriend and I are still talking about that "other worldly" scene you refered to. What makes it mysterious is that no explanation is offered. This is the most emotionally moving animated film I've seen in years.
The fact most of this was made in blender challenges the common backfire it's "not industry standard", and yet it's used here in a movie and indie videogames 👀
I am SO looking forward to seeing this film and I'm delighted to hear how well it connected with you, I absolutely KNOW it'll hit me deeply. Terrific review, love your style, observations and your articulation. Immediate Sub and Like.
This IS the best animated movie of 2024
Maybe of all time.
I agree
I find it unique for me

It does look like a video game graphic but as you said one you look beyond that it's an amazing animated movie
Thank you for the review from Latvia!
You are welcome

Just discovering this filmmaker recently, and fell in love with his earlier film Away. Thank you for this look at Flow, I'm eager to see it next.

I still didn't understand ehat happened with the bird, Like, did he sacrificed himself so the flood would Disappear?
The bird's ending is open to interpretation. There are many.
А я живу в стране, в которой сделали этот прекрасный мультфильм😂
Wow is just amazing

Inside Out 2 is a terrible movie to start with, while Flow is a great movie.
Not a high bar, inside out 2 was shit
