you know the international 7.3 idi was all gear and you can also get a gear conversion for the chevy engines and slo for the Chevy diesels my old 6.5 has a gear conversion
😂 I have both trucks duramaxs are garbage u can’t even compare the two when it comes to strength. Duramax will gap my 12v but my 12v had came to save my Chevy many times and the Cummins never failed me ever
@smokiethebear3334 Ford has nothing but trash diesels, and Chevy has an independent front end, v8 diesel, and auto. It's more or less a heavy half ton. Cummins guys don't need a leg up but I'm flattered you think so. 😂

Very basic "bullet-proof" simple gear train. Keep them properly lubricated and they'll be there for many years.
Well technically the GM oil pump is larger and another technicality, the GM isn’t torn down having work done to it. It’s still driving.
Most likely he's doing mods to it. These engines are known to run over 1 million miles.
