Can you try 'Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True love'. Its the first novel that I read that made me like BL so much.
Yeaaaaaah, I won't buy from Monogatari. I'm sure some other North American publisher will get these eventually, and I know Silent Concubine is available legally on PocketComics or Toonmics. But Monogatari has been terrible to their fans and shady at best and I'm not about to support them.
I would love to order from them, but they want $40 for shipping. It's a bit much for me.

I've read a lot of deaths/bad endings for characters who didn't deserve it, but the things that happened in how to survive as a villain? I've never read anything like it. [spoiler]
Especially what happened to XCG.... I cried so much for him. He deserved to heal and get better and maybe one day be happy but fate was not on his side at all😭 they tried to help him in so many ways but it didn't work and it was genuinely heartbreaking to see how if anything he just got worse.
How To Survive As A Villain is a sweet story that had me fangirl squealing every chapter.

Given that all I know about Female general is that the main character disguises herself as a man Mulan style, “lesbian danmei” hilariously fits better than it should.
I've finished both of these and I absolutely just ADORE How to Survive as a Villain. It's funny, romantic, interesting, and the drama all throughout is just beautifully satisfying ❤If you miss Scum Villain, this is a wonderful read. ❤

How to Survive as a Villain was such a good book and it had me bawling my eyes out. Even though I don't cry with books often. I thought it was just a funny story..... I didn't expect it to be TRAGIC. It's not a sad ending but still.

I love How to Survive as a Villain, it's one of my favourites. The relationship between the two main characters is really lovely, just be ready for the trauma...it made me cry so much.
I'm so happy we're getting baihe novels officially in english! T^T I'm definitely gonna buy both of them even though from what I know they're pretty angsty and sad. How to Survive as a Villain sounds fun to read so I'll give it a try too someday!

WHEN THEY GOT BURNT IN THE GRANARY WHILE SINGING A NATIONAL SONG FROM THE NORTHERN KINGDOM.... I cried so hard and I had to stop reading for like a day. It was the longest break I took because otherwise I couldn't stop reading unless I had to eat. I barely slept until I was done reading.

How To Survive As A Villain is great, I highly recommend the novel cause much more of characters' inner thoughts are in the novel but not included in the comic.
Romance is very sweet, but the story is actually not as light as you think in the beginning tho, so better be ready.
Silent concubine is toxic stereotypical dog blood, but drawn very well.
I didn't realize there was a comic for the book as well. I might read it just to refresh my memories.

@@someonewho it's very cute! And a lot less problematic than a lot of other stories so far. They have a healthy, genuine relationship and honestly the prince is probably a little too into the idea of being ravished by his fishy beloved.

Clear and Muddy Loss of Love physical version??? I haven't read it yet so take my damn money! Also, I've read both of the stories in this video. I read the novel for Silent Concubine and the manhua for How to Survive as a Villain. SC was nice, I definitely enjoyed their interactions towards the end but I prefer How to Survive as a Villain. The humor was my favorite part, I laughed my ass off at the pop-culture references and the love interest basically being like "Babe, what the fuck is a chainsaw?" and there may or may not be a lesbian couple in that one lol

Ohhh I really love How to Survive as a VillIian!! I haven't read the novel yet, but I've read the manhua. Though the manhua ending was a bit rushed, but novel readers said that the novel's ending is much more great! As for the Silent Concubine manhua, I mean.. enjoyed it as well, but I dropped it.
finally someone talk about the legendary master wife its my top 1 ...it was super good.. very adventure pack and it feels so complete and well written.. well it has a lot of chapters and it was worth it!

i started with the silent concubine but stopped at chap66 cuz i was so annoyed with the ml TToTT but i finished how to survive as a villian litteraly was my therapy (not entirely cuz i needed more therapy after reading the extras) How To Survive As A Villain is like scum villain but the ml has a liu qinge attitude tbh also i find it funny how both sqq and xiao yuan as comedic inside thought
I've read The Silent Concubine on Manga Toon and the relationship changes dramatically after the office wife plot. They get better because of the reading lessons.

I’m interested in whether The Silent Concubine is a good read. The comic is beautiful art, but the story is tough and changes up midway.
From what I’ve read of it, it’s okay in my opinion. As they said, not for the faint of heart. And aside from that, it’s the miscommunication and the kind of avoidable situations that the love interest should’ve seen coming. The art is good and the romance between them is actually pretty sweet though
Art is beautiful... it is very dramatic and not a lot of funny moments compared to How to Survive as a Villain, but it's definitely worth reading. I enjoyed the whole journey. ❤

Hey Kictor, I know I have already but I just want to recommend the Dangai/Danmei drama that came out a few months ago again: The Spirealm. Jeanet has been reacting to it for a while now and she really enjoys it as well. It is adapted from my favourite Danmei horror novel Kaleidoscope of Death and it was so gay that it was only officially available in mainland China for 2 hours. I watched it from an unofficial source like everyone else and it was so so good. I would say it is my favourite Danmei drama after The Untamed, so I think you would really love it!!

Omg you've read soooo many Danmei, even more than me! This kind of Danmei novels, such as MXTX's, are called Yuan Dan（原耽，Original Danmei）, is fairly popular here while not many writers are good at doing this, though. I read Mo Dao Zu Shi like 8 years ago and after that rarely have I read any Yuan Dan coz it's really hard to find good and worth-reading novels.
