You should do some spotting at KOSU. I actually live in a neighborhood East of Antrim Lake and I am right under the approach into 27L and get to see a ton of small GA planes all the time. I think some spotting there would be pretty cool. The airport actually gets a good amount of planes on some days, especially when there are student pilots out. Just a suggestion. 👍
Pointless I have been there before (inside the terminal/classroom building) but haven't found a spotting area that I think would be worth shooting at (no audio inside). Do you have any suggestions on where to go?
I guess it changes when you mention you have to get audio, You could find a spot on the Side of Sawmill Road, you could catch some departures possibly. Or you could come to a small park in a neighborhood close to the airport and watch planes come in on final. It works, I can spot planes in my own backyard 😅 A few recommendations- There is Selby Park, Indianola Park, or even Antrim Park.
New engine start video for those interested!

Rexxidy For sure!
I was a dispatcher at NetJets at one time. I would go in the break room and watch planes t/o all the time.

Yikes. Your takeoff footage was sped up
Johnny Walker It wasn't sped up, I just had my lens out to 400mm
