Feathering is the opposite of air brakes. We feather the prop on an inoperable engine to decrease drag on the dead side. This helps manage adverse yaw, and increases climb performance. In the case of a single engine, the prop is also feathered for an inoperable engine to decrease drag which helps achieve max endurance and range. Pushing the prop lever full forward is the draggiest position.

I seem to have a problem when starting up... I start the engines but when I'm about to taxi everything electrical shuts off and then it comes up with a message about turning on the electrical system for radio 😕😕
Look in the book. Most of them tend to advise about 70% - matching that with 70% on the throttles. Like I said - read the documentation - it will vary based on temperature and altitude.

Not sure if anyone can help me but I can’t for the life of me get the nose wheel to steer. It works in the f-18 but not the beech king. I don’t know what to do.
First step - if you have been meddling with the controller profiles - is to revert to the default profile for your controller and see if that resolves it. There IS a nosewheel steering axis that is independent of the rudder - some aircraft use it, some don't. It may be you just need to map it to your controls appropriately.
@@jonbeckett Thanks, I reset all controls to default but there was no key for it. I know the buttons work because it works on the f-18. I have the nose wheel steering axis and limit set and the g-limiter set. Cant seem to toggle to get the wheel to work tho. I didn’t know there is another key for the rudder steering. Is it just using the rudder or is there another name for the control. If it just the rudder the plane barely most when I use it.
@@jonbeckett yeah, I figured out the problem. I had a joystick button programmed to toggle reverse thrust. But for some reason the reverse thrust toggle function does not work. I had to reprogram the button instead to reduce thrust. So now the button takes it from 0 throttle to negative throttle, thus giving me reverse thrust. Problem solved.
Well... this is just the stock version in the simulator - without loading it up, and taking a look, it's difficult to know what you mean by "all" the buttons. That's because the real thing has positive thrust at idle - especially if you go for high-idle (which the real-world pilots VERY rarely use).
