And the "Don't tell Harry" line fits in with one of the themes of the movie, that Harry is kept in the dark about certain things. The line is said by other characters, including Peter Parker himself. I don't see it as silly. I think it fits.

I just want to defend the Godfather scene...After she gets shot she is in shock, it went into her chest, so she acted it well, falling and passing out would have been the correct response for her character. And if they had her gasping and groaning it would have taken away from the shock and suddenness of the scene. SO yeah....thats my opinion on that scene. Not bad acting.

I watched a real video from Brazil of a man who got shot once in the chest with a revolver and he did exactly what the daughter character does in The Godfather III scene. Lacking the stopping power of a rifle, a pistol round (or even several) is not going to make a person drop like a ton of bricks when the bullet hits them. But it's large enough of a caliber that you die within a minute or two. In the video I mentioned, the man who got shot stood there in seemingly-stunned silence for a good 5-7 seconds, looking spaced out and in shock. Just stood there with the red spot slowly growing on his chest. Then he took a few steps to lean against a wall, but his legs then gave out and he went limp and crumpled. Again, the stopping power of a 22, 9mm, or 45 pistol is not going to drop people instantly the way people do when hit with rifle rounds, but the dramatic drop in blood pressure from getting shot right in the center of your chest - especially if the heart is damaged - coupled with rapid blood loss will make you grow extremely dizzy and you'll pass out within a minute or two. Aside from the pain of getting shot (which will be dulled by shock and adrenaline), it would be like fainting - but never waking up, of course. Sofia Coppola IS a notoriously bad actress, no offense to her, but her dazed, monotone, spaced-out voice and expression and how she stands there for a few seconds and then falls after getting shot once in the chest by a pistol is not unrealistic at all, really.
