I remember Rob in the old days we would go to his band Rob Mathes and his boy Elroy... I felt that we where being treated to a giant talent.... at a bar in norwalk ct.... it was always an event, he would talk to the kids in the audience ( me ) he would invite us to his Christmas performances ( rock and roll kids ) it was the first time I ever cried at a live performance even my hardened ( ha ) tough guy friends... all teary eyed... thank you mr Mathes you touch the heart of all who hear your music
