I agree that the show might have done better on Cartoon Network than on Nick. It was a better fit on CN anyway because it looked and felt more like that kind of show than a Nicktoon. Perhaps that's not surprising given that Rob Renzetti had previously worked on PowerPuff Girls, Samurai Jack and Dexter's Laboratory, and I suspect this may be part of the reason why Nickelodeon gave it the shaft--it just didn't fit their formula of what an animated TV series should be like SpongeBob, Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron or even Rugrats did. I watched some of those shows as a kid too, but because they relied more on grade school humor, I outgrew all of them eventually. MLAATR felt more like a show that appealed to teens and young adults and thus didn't have as much kiddie humor (scatological or otherwise.) That's the main reason why I'm still a fan of the show long after I matured out of the target audience for almost every other Nicktoon. While we're on the subject I have an unpopular opinion (and a bit of a confession) to give. I don't think most of Nickelodeon's 90s shows were that good. The content wasn't much different from their aughts output (minus MLAATR of course), and in any case I wasn't allowed to watch most of them, so perhaps I'm biased in that regard. Then again, I also wasn't allowed to watch most CN shows back then either, but I still like the animation style and humor of those shows more than any of the non-MLAATR Nicktoons I've seen. Most of my memories watching either channel are from the aughts. And I think part of the reason why MLAATR doesn't have more of a following in its postmortem is because most of the nostalgia for classic Nicktoons is centered on the 90s rather than the aughts when MLAATR was on. I'm perhaps the only 90s kid in America that feels this way, but I also think that Don Bluth made way better animated films than anything Disney has put out in the last 20 years, so there.
This was hands down one of the best cartoon shows from when I was growing up. It’s one of the ones that’s always stuck with me and I always remembered. It deserved so much better
The intro is great. Mlaatr was one of those gems that was unfortunately not appreciated by Nick and never completed. On the other hand, it is ratings and money that play the leading role, and unfortunately even interesting projects created by talented people ... die. By the way, you can say thanks to bob and parents who eclipsed every cartoon. I hope reboot will get such a large audience that Nick realizes their mistake.
I found out about MLaaTR in 2019 (or even 2020) completely by accident. I was watching TH-cam and I came across a video about this cartoon in the recommendations. Later I decided to find this cartoon and watch it. I liked it so much that I wondered why no one knew about it. Eventually I found out about this fanbase and I am very glad that it still exists to this day and even so many years after the show closed you exist. Thank you so much for that! (I don't get active in the fanbase often, but I watch every one of your videos, like all your posts and keep up with the news) 😄
Sadly I don't think Cartoon network would've treated the show better, as seen with their latest shows and the amount of cancelled shows that failed and were marked as tax failure, only the most simple, childish, and episodic cartoons can guarantee themselves to thrive nowadays.
The crazy thing is a lot of the same flags popped up when Transformers tried to have its shows aired on Cartoon Network; Robots in Disguise 2015 and TF Animated got shoved into early morning timeslots where few people would see them so CN could air more Teen Titans Go. Sometimes I wonder why Nick isn't willing to just let someone else buy the rights to reboot the show when they clearly don't give a flip about anything except Spongebob at this point. I can't help but be worried that the fan-made MLaaTR reboot will be C&D'd by Viacom at some point for no other reason than because they can.
At this point, Nickalodean is just Sponge Bob the company. They are acting like they are nothing without Spongebob the same way as Spider-Man in Homecoming, relying on the suit so much Spider-Man would be fucked without it.
Okay, realisticly if Jenny went up against Zim in a death battle. Even with Zim's fancy Irken tools he wouldn't even be able to scratch Jenny's paint job let alone actaully do damage!
All Jenny has to do is grab Zim like a muppet, spin him around at high volasticy, and fling him so hard and fast he'll crash onto his superiors's main ship. And his Zim isn't a human, Robot's law won't help poor Zim in this situation.
I remember catching this show on Nicktoons when it aired, this show, like others, stuck with me, and while older Spongebob episodes will always have a charm, I went and rewatched the Entirety of MLAATR and, it all had the same charm I felt as when I caught it airing on tv, always loved this show
Say what you will about Death Battle, but if Jenny were to be included in an episode, she would most likely stomp anyone she went up against, and there is no popularity vote to interfere (even if there was, she would probably win it too). Plus, Death Battle is a big channel that takes in millions of views per video, so having MLaaTR represented in any capacity would be a huge deal and would also likely introduce many newer viewers to the series, which is always nice.
@@MyLifeasaTeenageRobotFanbase Of course, they're just there for entertainment value, which is what separates Death Battle from the million other "versus" shows on TH-cam. Also, if Jenny ever did star in an episode, would any member of the MLaaTR Fanbase channel react to and/or review it?
Honestly, I think Jenny wouldn’t bother fighting Zim. Zim would attempt to get her to, and then declare himself the winner when she gets bored and leaves.
Nickelodeon was never considered the channel only for SpongeBob. I seen alot of Reddits and blogs that they used to air alot of variety on the network. Because they had a person that treated Nick in a health way (Geraldine Laybourne). This person wanted Nick to air shows that no other network aired at the time. Plus, they never want their properties only to be use for toys or reboots. Even airing non-original international shows that syndication can't save that much. Like Danger Mouse, a show that wasn't made in America, but got popular over time. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon stopped doing this idea of airing this kind of random content after like 2002 and only continue this for their other brands like Nick Jr., Noggin and Nicktoons Network. Even though that was the first break of the network's rules from Laybourne, the real breaking point was when Nickelodeon began promoting their animated content. Especially when The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie was being heavily promoted (which was originally supposed to be the series finale, but was debunked due to the show's gigantic popularity during this time). The show would get a fourth season, which led Nick to air SpongeBob, at least, 4 repeats a day. Until 2007, when it became a widespread mess on the network, airing about 6-8 repeats a day, causing alot of Nicktoons to move to Nicktoons Network (which I heard about, the network used to have a decent schedule). Heck, not only SpongeBob, but Rugrats and Dora too. These two got extremely popular around 1998 and 2003, respectively. Yeah... They weren't the big problem as what we see... later... but it was starting to be the breaking point for the network. Sadly, the network hasn't really changed itself since 2007. It's really sad because I noticed by those bumpers and reviews on TH-cam and from other places that Nickelodeon used to be the big orange network that can air anything for everyone. Unfortunately, it ain't the same nowadays. Look. I still love the Nickelodeon brand. I never want it to become like their sister brand, MTV, when they only rely alot on live action content than their music and animated content. But the network now is just a shell of its former self. If Nickelodeon just kept listening to Laybourne's rules for once, SpongeBob wouldn't become the network's main focus. They can continue to air reruns of the show, but they just really need to give the series a break in favor of other shows. Yes, there's the Loud House, but that show... is just a monster of the Nicktoons in my opinion. (Yes, this is another comment. But this time it's about Nickelodeon.)
I know right? Nickelodeon made a huge mistake, I saw channels on yt posting clips about mlaatr, and they’re gaining more and more fans (views as well) Im so happy, and I hope that someday mlaatr will return or will be air on CN
You know. I wish this show aired on Cartoon Network instead of Nickelodeon. The artstyle, the action sequences, the humor, the writing and the episode ideas definitely feels like I'm watching a classic Cartoon Network show than a Nicktoon. Not to mention, Teenage Robot almost shares the same Joel Valentine and Horta/Hacienda Post sound effects as Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Dexter's Laboratory and Powerpuff Girls. Especially when they used that generic Cartoon Network "swish" sound effect (which was used in alot of Cartoon Network shows up until Chowder).
This show along with ChalkZone, Invader Zim, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, The Mighty B!, El Tigre, Making Fiends, and Harvey Beaks made Nickelodeon didn’t feel the same when they canceled it. So much for my earliest childhood days right before Nickelodeon had already been a shameless dump in the beginning. Had I known or cared that there was something off about Nickelodeon growing up over the years, I mean I loved SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents and couldn’t really get enough of it but however since I was in my late preteen years, I’ve kind of already had enough of SpongeBob and The Fairly OddParents and wondered why SpongeBob still had never ended yet. To be completely honest as much as I always knew that Nickelodeon had something missing during the whole decade, I really missed this show too much, and really wished it would’ve came back for a revival/reboot or a Netflix revival movie like how Hey Arnold, Rocko’s Modern Life and Invader Zim have. But this show was just too poorly treated and underrated. But at the very least, I’m grateful that without this show, there never would’ve been Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Adventure Time, My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic or Gravity Falls (where it also had Bill Cipher) thanks to the amazing creator who is one of the legends. So much for nostalgia and growing up.
Please note that the DreamWorks shows were cancelled in 2015 and 2016 due to the partnership with Paramount expired back in 2012 and also due to NBCUniversal owning the rights with their properties. It's not because of SpongeBob, it's because of partnership issues. Just like how Saban had to break up with Nickelodeon in 2017 and moved to Hasbro.
@@kootunesscrewy Jimmy Neutron getting cancelled wasn’t Nickelodeon’s fault either. The animation company got bankrupt and went out of business after releasing The Ant Bully in theaters which bombed hard.
Nah. Everyone always say that. If Nickelodeon is gonna die one day, the SpongeBob franchise will probably be moved to Paramount for their streaming service (alongside their other properties). Because unfortunately, the deed has been already done. Simliar how Cartoon Network stopped airing the Warner Bros cartoons, which led the Warners to air their shows on HBO Max and Hulu.
Even me beign inspired by the fanarts of @keitheaverage I tried to make a series for adults based on mlaatr but set 20 years after the series I even nicknamed the series as: My life as a teenage robot for future
Almost reminds me of Batman Beyond, great show, didn't make it passed a few seasons in. MLAATR was one of those shows I loved to watch, but gradually found it harder and harder to track down because Nickelodeon couldn't decide where they wanted to air it. It makes me wonder what's going to happen when Spongebob finally dies in popularity? Nick's gonna be scrounging for something to stay a float because they put 0 faith in anything else.
animators are getting so good nowadays, alot of animations look just as good if not even better than the original. if alot of them came together they could bring back the show themselves, maybe a pg-13 version with language and more violent stuff since she is technically a crime fighting robot
I am not a fun of MLAATR but your video's have a really good quallity, and I think maybe I shold give to cartoon another try and watch it again I was watching MLAATR long time ago when I was a kid, but I remember it as a funny show. It sad how Nickelodeon ruins it's own projects
The Loud House, Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants have one thing in common: They both were milked because of their successful ratings, causing them to go downhill...
I still don't feel nick treated it's other shows half as awfully as they treated MLAATR .There's letting a show die , and there's bleeding a show dry but they straight up embarrassed Teenage robot as much as they could before pretending it didn't exist , likely having something to do with that video we don't discuss . Sometime I feel Nick got everything they deserved , after canceling so many shows because they couldn't get a following the week of airing , AND advertising several pilots on youtube just to do nothing with them. Is MLAATR even on paramount+? Also if you could have my life as a teenage robot cross over with one or more other nicktoon, (maybe even jimmy timmy power hour style ) what would it be
My Life as a Teenage Robot is on Paramount+, but I think it was dumped there in the same way all the other NickToons were. As for the crossover, it’s a generic answer, but Danny Phantom would be a good fit seeing that they have vaguely similar premises
Not does Nick have to stop canceling shows with good potential and over dumb ratings, but they also gotta start making cartoons with memorable female protagonists again! There aren’t any female cartoon leads as there used to be anymore, and the Nickcom leads are all stereotypical cliches! STOP BEING SEXIST NICKELODEON!
Actually, Stephen Hillenburg WAS aware of Nick making SpongeBob spin-offs before his death. Specifically, Tom Kenny and Vincent Waller have said in interviews that Hillenburg was aware Kamp Koral's existance before his death, as it was greenlit months before his death. And if anyone uses that quote that Hillenburg said in a 2009 interview, read that quote again. When he said "I don't see any spin-offs", he meant it as "I don't see any spin-offs happening right now". He never said "I don't want any spin-offs". Plus, it's worth noting that he wasn't interested in making a theatrical animated movie and a Broadway stage musical based on his series, at first. But not only did he later change his mind and approve of them, but he was involved in 3 theatrical movies based on his series. And if anyone uses what Paul Tibbitt said in Twitter as an example, Tibbitt left the franchise (and Nickelodeon) during the mid-2010's and now works at DreamWorks Animation. He probably had no idea that Hillenburg changed his mind. Thank you.
Just like how Geraldine Laybourne actually never wanted Nickelodeon's programming to be use for toys. Unfortunately, Nick decided to ignore her and kept making SpongeBob giant in clothing and other merchandise.
7:35 That's probably the most painful one for me. It's not even on any of the major streaming services nowadays, and it doesn't even have a complete season/series DVD.
7:26 Ah Cat scratch a show based on a adult comic. Yeah look it up, and of course they made changes like change Mr Black’s name to Mr Blink ( not pickles.) for obvious reasons.
While it would've been a nice idea to bring MLAATR to cartoon network, it probably wouldn't have been much better. They would make a fair amount of episodes, but they would probably run out of ideas quick. Plus CN is struggling on its own as well! I will say this once and I will say this forever, Jenny absolutely did not deserve this! She will always be a savior in our eyes.
It's such a shame how Nickelodeon is so money hi very that they're relying on popular tv shows to make all their money, especially Spongebob. Don't get me wrong, I used to watch Spongebob on ytv when I was like 3 or 4 years old, but it has continued way past its original goal and Nickelodeon can't even be bothered to let the series end. There's so many under related Nick shows its just insane, so many companies are just money hungry these days. Btw, I liked the end credit scene of this video, it was funny
@@MyLifeasaTeenageRobotFanbase I haven't even watched ytv in a while, and I haven't mainly watched in years. Occasionally it'll be on that channel if there's a movie I've seen before on and that's about it
A lot of show such like MLAATR, Danny Phantom, Chalk Zone, etc got booted even with having a strong fan base. Nick just Meat ridded Fairy Odd parents and spongebob to the ground and won't have anything else to continue you since that's all they poured they're money and time on
Ironic that canonically in the show itself Jenny got mistreated by the Crust Cousins, everyone at both school and in the state of Tremorton, got mistreated at times by her own mother Nora who at times acted narcissistic towards her and her friends Sheldon, Brad and Tuck did at times be very incosiderate towards Jenny (Around The World In Eighty Pieces and Victim Of Fashion). And Nickelodeon treated her just like everyone in Tremorton did by only seeing her as an object robot and nothing else.
I remember only seeing the first two seasons, but completely missed out on the third because it just didn’t air soon enough. I only ever saw the third season’s episodes thanks to TH-camrs
If this show continues to make new seasons and make a theatrical sequel to the best episode of the show ever: Escape from Cluster Prime, then Nick could *finally* cancel SpongeBob
I Miss MLAATR, Jimmy Neutron, Drake And Josh, iCarly, And More Classic Nickelodeon Shows Most The Mordern Shows I Not Intrested in I Used To Watch Jimmy Neutron A Lot When Its On Hulu
It’s really frustrating when Nickelodeon keeps milking spongebob dry. I bet all my money that one day, even though Nickelodeon tolerates the loud house, it will get the same treatment as this show when it comes to the ending.
Apologies for asking but I've noticed that the speech of this video is very slow compared to the speech of older videos which are about 2 years ago. May I ask why that is?
I hadn’t noticed, I’m not sure. There are new narrators who record their lines in different ways and this video in particular has a lot of edits in between paragraphs.
Ha, Not even spongebob is getting much attention on Nickelodeon anymore they barely show any new episodes of SpongeBob nowadays, The Loud House is now Nickelodeon's new favorite.
Loud House was dumb in my opinion. And I don't really care about SpongeBob. It was great, but not the best. I was more into their other ones, like Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life, lol.
Yeah. But to be fair, the Nicktoons officially died after Penguins I really didn't like Planet Sheen, that Kung Fu Panda show, Monsters vs. Aliens, Rabbids Invasion, The Loud House (used to like it, but now despised it), The Casagrandes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), The Adventures of Kid Danger, that horrible Rugrats reboot and.... Kamp Koral. Kinda mixed with Welcome to the Wayne and Legend of Korra. I was alright with Rise of the Turtles, Harvey Beaks, The Patrick Show, Big Nate, Breadwinners, PGBC and Sanjay and Craig (in my opinion). The only ones I enjoyed the most were Fanboy and Chum Chum (also in my opinion), T.U.F.F. Puppy, Robot and Monster, It's Pony and Middlemost Post. But overall. None of these toons are the same as the old ones.
@@kootunesscrewy Then again, Butch Hartman was planning to leave Nickelodeon around early 2018, so it’s possible to say that Bunsen was probably meant to get only 1 season considering that Butch Hartman did work on the show unless they would of found someone else to do more seasons but I highly doubt it.
Also, I hate it how they don't give a shit on how hype this show is, they're money hungry but otherwise its still good to this day but would've made it WAY better if this show wasn't cancelled.
You do know this is Nickelodeon you're talking about right? They have an bad reputation when it comes to treating their other animated shows. You're either SpongeBob, the Fairly Odd Parents, the Loud House, or a live action show.
@@MultiSuperguy101 Drake and Josh was amazing, and so was iCarly (at least the first half). Zoey 101 and Ned’s Declassified was also pretty good. The rest like Henry Danger and Marvin Marvin were terrible. The reason why Nickelodeon treats those shows better (in terms of variety) is because live action is a lot more cheap than animation, even though SpongeBob pulls in 8 billion dollars annually.
@@misterniceguy429 I mean what do you expect. SpongeBob is their bread. The live action is reasonable to air in terms of what’s gonna give them the numbers they want. Not to mention with the internet becoming more popular back in the mid 00s and streaming becoming big as of now, it’s hard for any network to take risk at this time which is why they only mostly air SpongeBob and The Loud House. Sometimes Big Nate does air on the main channel along with the Rugrats Reboot(2021). With cable dying, variety isn’t gonna be a thing, unless we surprisingly wake up tomorrow morning and they air all their shows on the schedule, including there old ones, but I doubt it.
I wonder what nick would do if spongebob started failing. The show and its off-branches are already getting bad video reviews from adults, it's only a matter of time until the kids start getting tired of it as well.
I miss watching Mlaatr on Nickelodeon. It was awasome and Nickelodeon isn’t the channel it use to be. It would be really great if they bring it back. The same way Cartoon Network bring back the old teen titans and Ben 10 on Saturday mornings.
It still feels like the show was killed in its infancy, such unfair treatment. I just wish it could get one last movie like Invader Zim did, just one final hurrah to pay respect and wrap up loose threads. I'd give anything for that.
3:10 International differences between fans’. Every company does that for some reason. They always change something that doesn’t matter or not show it entirely.
at this point, as the fact that Spongebob is "Nickelodeon's peak"; a fall of Spongebob ALMOST seems the only way to reawaken those OLDER and BETTER cartoons.
Well this is the result for Nickelodeon on training SpongeBob like it if it's life support. Also SpongeBob maeks Viacom 5% of their money and makes $13 billion on merchandise alone.

(I don't get active in the fanbase often, but I watch every one of your videos, like all your posts and keep up with the news) 😄
I really appreciate that, we’ve got more in store!
Same
I watched it back when it first aired on Nickelodeon. I'm 32 years old, and I still love this show.
Sadly I don't think Cartoon network would've treated the show better, as seen with their latest shows and the amount of cancelled shows that failed and were marked as tax failure, only the most simple, childish, and episodic cartoons can guarantee themselves to thrive nowadays.
I mean it would have at least survived longer, maybe getting up to season 5 or 6
The crazy thing is a lot of the same flags popped up when Transformers tried to have its shows aired on Cartoon Network; Robots in Disguise 2015 and TF Animated got shoved into early morning timeslots where few people would see them so CN could air more Teen Titans Go.
I like mlaatr. Wish they made more seasons.
Yep
Well at least Nickelodeon still acknowledges the show's existence
They do, but mostly through generic Twitter posts or international broadcasts.
@@MyLifeasaTeenageRobotFanbase yeah that's true
@@MyLifeasaTeenageRobotFanbase I remember seeing a video from nickelodeon talking about the intro of mlaatr
Yeah unlike Making Fiends another good show they cancelled after 6 episodes.
At this point, Nickalodean is just Sponge Bob the company. They are acting like they are nothing without Spongebob the same way as Spider-Man in Homecoming, relying on the suit so much Spider-Man would be fucked without it.
I believe the show will come back one day, wether it be under Nickelodeon’s or Viacom’s guise or not.
I remember catching this show on Nicktoons when it aired, this show, like others, stuck with me, and while older Spongebob episodes will always have a charm, I went and rewatched the Entirety of MLAATR and, it all had the same charm I felt as when I caught it airing on tv, always loved this show
And that's why any other animation studio is better than Nickelodeon
Okay which animation studios
@@thomasphanote6182 Nickelodeon Animation Studios? Frederator Studios?
Say what you will about Death Battle, but if Jenny were to be included in an episode, she would most likely stomp anyone she went up against, and there is no popularity vote to interfere (even if there was, she would probably win it too). Plus, Death Battle is a big channel that takes in millions of views per video, so having MLaaTR represented in any capacity would be a huge deal and would also likely introduce many newer viewers to the series, which is always nice.
I have no problem with Death Battle, they know that the fights are ultimately meaningless too!

At least My Life As a Teenage Robot is not underrated animated TV series, it's still available on Paramount+, right?
I believe it is, yes!
Nickelodeon threw out such a great thing. I really don't know what they were thinking.
Alternate title: Andre roasts Nickelodeon about treating Mlaatr like trash for 9 minutes
Honestly, I think Jenny wouldn’t bother fighting Zim. Zim would attempt to get her to, and then declare himself the winner when she gets bored and leaves.
Spongebob was both a miracle and a CURSE
Wait so, "my life as a teenage robot" was originally supposed to be aired on Cartoon network.
it warms my heart to see a piece of my childhood endure for so long, keep up the great work. ^_^
I actually remember waking up early during elementary school just to watch the show. Cause we never found the dvds
Not only Jenny, even Jimmy and Danny deserve the same love as well.
And if she gets a revival movie, I'll scream with joy.
That meme at the end is just _Chef’s Kiss_
The day Spongebob as a franchise finally dies Nickelodeon will implode and die because of how hollow and empty they truly are.
They don't deserve the show Anyways. MLAATR deserves the Samurai Jack treatment.
damn straight.
Even me beign inspired by the fanarts of @keitheaverage I tried to make a series for adults based on mlaatr but set 20 years after the series
I even nicknamed the series as:
My life as a teenage robot for future
Almost reminds me of Batman Beyond, great show, didn't make it passed a few seasons in. MLAATR was one of those shows I loved to watch, but gradually found it harder and harder to track down because Nickelodeon couldn't decide where they wanted to air it. It makes me wonder what's going to happen when Spongebob finally dies in popularity? Nick's gonna be scrounging for something to stay a float because they put 0 faith in anything else.
The Loud House is already SpongeBob’s replacement lol.
animators are getting so good nowadays, alot of animations look just as good if not even better than the original. if alot of them came together they could bring back the show themselves, maybe a pg-13 version with language and more violent stuff since she is technically a crime fighting robot
I wish My Life as a Teenage Robot, Invader Zim had gotten more.
Bro I’m legit 2 minutes in and the editing is way beyond amazing, keep it up!!!
It’s like Robotboy. An amazing show that never reached it’s full potential.
Unfortunately, that show was gave 3 stars or even 2 stars and just got popular in some Europe at that time
I am not a fun of MLAATR but your video's have a really good quallity, and I think maybe I shold give to cartoon another try and watch it again
I was watching MLAATR long time ago when I was a kid, but I remember it as a funny show. It sad how Nickelodeon ruins it's own projects
The Loud House, Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants have one thing in common: They both were milked because of their successful ratings, causing them to go downhill...
Let’s ignore Rugrats. Before those 3 shows came, Rugrats was a huge success on Nickelodeon and even that show was milked to death.
@@MyLifeasaTeenageRobotFanbase the Danny jenny power hour actually does sound about as good .
Get this; LIVE ACTION SHOWS ARE MUCH MORE CHEAPER TO MAKE THAN CARTOONS, STOP BEING A HARDCORE ANIMATION FAN!
@@kootunesscrewy That's different from what I was talking about. Hillenburg was aware of Kamp Koral's existance before his death.
We feel bad for how Nickelodeon treated MLAATR...
7:35
That's probably the most painful one for me.
It's not even on any of the major streaming services nowadays, and it doesn't even have a complete season/series DVD.

2022: 🎵Who lives in a pineapple under the- *OK I GIVE UP! NO MORE!*

7:26 Ah Cat scratch a show based on a adult comic. Yeah look it up, and of course they made changes like change Mr Black’s name to Mr Blink ( not pickles.) for obvious reasons.
Nick mistreats a lot of shows chalk zone really comes to bind
Nickolodeon should give jenny a chance not just treat her wrong.
No, a second chance is what she needs. It's has been like 13 years.
I know of Danny Phantom having an upcoming comic series. Wonder if MLaaTR may get the treatment too. Outside of the 2 comic shorts
Meanwhile, Nickelodeon's been preoccupied with Loud House as of 2016 and they're still obsessed with Loud House!!!
Great editing and great channel 👏
Nickelodeon, You Need To Bring This Back! Right Fanbase?
While it would've been a nice idea to bring MLAATR to cartoon network, it probably wouldn't have been much better. They would make a fair amount of episodes, but they would probably run out of ideas quick. Plus CN is struggling on its own as well! I will say this once and I will say this forever, Jenny absolutely did not deserve this! She will always be a savior in our eyes.
4:12 i go now to canada and nobody can stop me
It's such a shame how Nickelodeon is so money hi very that they're relying on popular tv shows to make all their money, especially Spongebob.
I’m a YTV viewer too, cheers!
I would've love to see a MLAATR and Transformers crossover. Jenny and Optimus would've been instant friends.
What about a MLAATR/TMNT crossover?
If this show continues to make new seasons and make a theatrical sequel to the best episode of the show ever: Escape from Cluster Prime, then Nick could *finally* cancel SpongeBob
Then again, unless you want the show to have some terrible episodes like SpongeBob did after the 1st movie, I suggest we just leave the series alone.
I Miss MLAATR, Jimmy Neutron, Drake And Josh, iCarly, And More Classic Nickelodeon Shows
Most The Mordern Shows I Not Intrested in
I Used To Watch Jimmy Neutron A Lot When Its On Hulu
Happy Earth's day Mlaatr fans!
Love New Intro :D
Now I HATE Nickelodeon now.
aww i remember watching this every morning before school with my brother as a kid! we loved it so much it always made us laugh!
MLAATR didn’t just get axed like many shows on Netflix. They let it bleed, they made it suffer slowly and painfully. That is so cruel.
It’s really frustrating when Nickelodeon keeps milking spongebob dry. I bet all my money that one day, even though Nickelodeon tolerates the loud house, it will get the same treatment as this show when it comes to the ending.
I’d argue that Loud House is already slowly overpowering SpongeBob.
@@kootunesscrewy those are great shows.
Yeah. But to be fair, the Nicktoons officially died after Penguins
I really didn't like Planet Sheen, that Kung Fu Panda show, Monsters vs.
(I forgot Bunsen is a Beast, but whatever. It was alright too. Sad it only lasted for one season.)
Here's what i got to say about Nickelodeon for cancelling this show: BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Also, I hate it how they don't give a shit on how hype this show is, they're money hungry but otherwise its still good to this day but would've made it WAY better if this show wasn't cancelled.
I’m surprised you’re still talking about the show even though it’s long since over
Gotta pass the time somehow!
I guess that makes sense. also keep it up!
You do know this is Nickelodeon you're talking about right? They have an bad reputation when it comes to treating their other animated shows. You're either SpongeBob, the Fairly Odd Parents, the Loud House, or a live action show.
Drake and Josh and iCarly were good though.
@@MultiSuperguy101
Drake and Josh was amazing, and so was iCarly (at least the first half).
Mlaatr deserves more attention
Nickelodeon needs to stop the canceling shows

I wonder what nick would do if spongebob started failing. The show and its off-branches are already getting bad video reviews from adults, it's only a matter of time until the kids start getting tired of it as well.
I wonder if Nickelodeon Canada still airs it in like 03:00am at night
7:35 Wow Wow Wubbzy is not a Nicktoon, It’s more of a Nick Jr show.
Correct.
Yeah man it's sad it didn't deserve to be treated like that
I miss watching Mlaatr on Nickelodeon. It was awasome and Nickelodeon isn’t the channel it use to be. It would be really great if they bring it back. The same way Cartoon Network bring back the old teen titans and Ben 10 on Saturday mornings.
3:41 This joke is so true XD
Also, it's my favorite movie.
It still feels like the show was killed in its infancy, such unfair treatment. I just wish it could get one last movie like Invader Zim did, just one final hurrah to pay respect and wrap up loose threads. I'd give anything for that.
1:47 SPONGEBOB WAS A KILLER!
It needs to return (for real) like actual episodes instead of making cameos
respect them they know what memes are 0:50
Well this is the result for Nickelodeon on training SpongeBob like it if it's life support.
Also SpongeBob maeks Viacom 5% of their money and makes $13 billion on merchandise alone.
