These are the games I listened to as a kid on my little yellow transistor radio in the 70s Hibbitt will always be my hero. So many great games! I'm from Surrey!
Fantastic memories of our team of the 70s we had some great player's then and a great No9 J.R. K.H. D.D W.C. B.G. and many more what a team. And now years later we have a new era of superstars with R.J. D.J. R.N. J.M. W.B. R.P. A.T. And more and a top class manager and owner's with money to get us back to where we belong what great time's again at our beloved club. Great time to be a wolves fan! Stay safe everyone! Always wolves 🐺🧡🖤
wolves probably the biggest under achievers of the 70s especially when you look at the players & teams they had over that period ,should of won alot more .
I loved the fantastic days of the 70's...I really miss them. Some of the best times ever in football. Wolves and proud forever.

@Porter Armando instablaster ;)
I love that a Southampton player was absolutely cleaned out by the defender and the ref just says indirect free kick lol. Proper football.
Love this football from the seventies 🖤🧡 respect from a guy 63 years 🇩🇰🇬🇧
Some brilliant action here , I’m an Arsenal fan but I love the honesty of 70s football !

Wolverhampton wanderers, class team
Wolves back then always gave you entertainment, yes you Dougan & get a haircut & I loved Kenny Hibbit & when Willie Carr arrived magic. Top 70s side.
Yes, an excellent video. Shame about the totally dyslexic subtitles!. I went to Wolves on numerous occasions in the 70s and enjoyed every minute!
One of the great wolves teams league cup winner in 1980 and UEFA Final 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Magical Molineux Memories. 🧡🖤🧡
I always thought that Derek Doogan looked like Lee Van Cleef !
Doog. JR. KENNY there was also a ref they called Mr Pickwick i.e Roger Kirkpatrick class act
Great match very proud to have gone to the eufa Cup final home and away in 1972 from kev broome 😂😂😊❤
The worlds greatest football club. 🐺🇬🇧
I forgot Bob Mcnab the actor played for the Wolves !
Tommy Smith very happy about Wolves 1st goal !
Willie has a pint in front of him, and King John an orange juice 😄
Hugh Johns commentating. He had the biggest hands in football……😉👍
This was a time when football players were real men and didn’t throw themselves on the floor when tackled
Great memories and great people 1970s always wolves ⚽️🐺👍
Shirts look better without any sponsorship
Plus 1-11 you knew who was who
Not the American Football numbers we have now
The old wolves always had very good left wingers.....
I started going in 69 loved every game
Willie Carr , not Willy !
Notice, hardly any players celebrated a goal scored by Dougan? Must be something behind his nickname of Thrush…..
? ........please explain.
Never understand why they played with a Orange ball as if your colour blind you can't see it
Usually used the orange ball on snowy game days, but there were exceptions as we have seen here.
