@@AvidEnduro main plastic is the tank cover, everything under that is metal...radiator side cover are plastic and the underseat/tail is too. Suppose you can mod the tank to make it look better.
@@Vikesh7896 Just wait till it gets done or get a newer year one where the problem was fix before assembly at the factory. In my case I got a 2019 model year and the dealer had to do the fix. The 2020 model year Honda already figured it out so there is no problem.
Service manual should have it. I don't have one yet. Have the manual for the previous model CB300F. CBF300 is a different model...I think it might be one of the air cooled Asian market bike.
I am trying to remove the front sprocket cover at moment two 8mm bolts removed but still can not move it any ideas it looks like its some kind of retention clip/bracket do not want to force it
The wires and tubes from under the sprocket cover are routed up through the cover to the wiring loom, so you have to undo stuff and thread it through before you can get the cover off. It is a right armpit
what size/quantity is the hardware? also what tool/s are you using? there are SO MANY pieces @_@ i need help putting mine back together fuck lol my bag of bolts grew legs, bro. >_> HELP.

Or at least trim the plastic to get rid of the wings and make it rounder by repatching the cut portion with kydex material? Would it be possible?
Do you happen to know if the the tank cover is the same between the 2018-2020 models?
It should be, but check the parts fiche. Only difference I think is the color.

if you need parts to replace lost parts, try RevZilla. They now sell OEM parts. Look at the fiche parts list/diagram.
