Chords are a series of notes played together or in parts. The first steps is to gain the knowledge of major/minor scale notes in every key. Next is to learn the number system chords and their placement in known songs. Next is to develop your way of extending those chords by additional notes forming various chord names and playing them as substitution chords to the known ones you've been using. All these techniques are covered in several piano chord building series on this channel.

@@anthoniorandrianarivao4174 When I talk about home chords I'm referencing the basic chords of the major scale used in any particular song. If the NNS is used then they are the 1-4-5-6 in the order used in that song. Gospel goes outside that system like jazz and if the musician gets lost artistically chord wise they can always go back to the *home chords.
