With 2 Grammies and 2 Oscars, ARR is the most underrated composer. Most of the world are not aware of the "magic" he has created in Indian Cinema. (Hindi, Tamil etc!)
He is not underrated, the world and the people have tremendous respect for his art, music composers are well aware of his achievements and potential.
Only hindi ppl dont give him much respect

I am surprised no one asked him about the new technology he is using in his current "intimate concert' series. It is pretty astounding --during the show --where he seemed to pick musical notes right out of the air. Would have loved to know more about that technology. And it would have been great to follow up on his part of his answer to the question about not having support when pursuing something and what to do about it . Part of his answer was that he originally did not want to do music but did it because his mother wanted him to do it. I wonder what he wanted to do when he was young and whether whatever it is or was --he ever pursued it? Also completely excited to learn about his school in India. I would love to visit it.
