I’m a new player to hsr I started about two months ago now. One of my biggest cons is the free characters you can get through end game modes are pretty hard to actually get, the lack of quantum units is what’s screwing me over in a lot of fights that qingque isn’t enough to beat. But I’m really enjoying the game Another huge con I missed the free dr ratio who would have really helped me out on fights I got stuck in for not having any imaginary units. Wish there was still a way to grab him
@@hazelmaple May I ask what Trailblaze level you are? Also I agree. Dr. Ratio is a pretty solid unit. I didn't get his lightcone cause I thought he'd get a rerun. I was wrong...
I don’t know how it works for new players but Hunt March 7th a pretty good sub dps also I think you get a free Xueyi from Apocalyptic Shadow which works well with Harmony MC because her kits loves break effect which H-MC gives so Xueyi can focus on crit rate and damage
Qingque is one of those characters that feels weak early on but is incredibly powerful after you invest in her traces. Another route you could do is get March 7th(hunt) and use Lynx as your healer, if you get one of March's traces that let's you add their element to her own when using her skill on an ally. this would let March have both Quantum and Imaginary dmg. If you want to use your Special starrail passes, Jade is coming to the banner and is an excellent dps to have.
@maccheesed689 I think Xueyi being synergistic with Harmony Trailblazer could be a misconception as she wants to do dmg toughness bars and less about actual breaking though you want to build break damage on her anyway. As for building Crit rate/dmg? I wouldn't advise it, for one Xueyi needs like 240% break effect and even with Harmony MC, it's unrealistic for a new player reach while still trying to put crit rate/dmg , certainly not enough to be helpful. For two, superbreak teams don't typically want crit stats because it doesn't increase their superbreak damage as that's only effected by break effect and their level. You'd be better off going even more into break effect or going into defensive stats like effect res or HP, and that's after reaching 240% Break effect.
the only con of this game is that you have to be able to accept the powercreep and pull for characters you want or else you will actually get depression if you attach yourself a little too much to this game
@@jaredtew3302 sadly that is true. Nothing we can really do about it aside from voicing our concerns. I do think there should be a balance. Pull for characters you want then pull characters for them. So that at least your favs can pop off HAHA

@frost-nv8mcit’s about story first, and the mechanics require strategy/planning to be effective. U can’t just run all healers even if u like them, just like u can’t run all hunt char or all harmony. & maintaining effectiveness/improving is the incentive to play outside of the story-which endgame content provides a benchmark for how effective your team is under xyz conditions
Honestly the whole thing about power creep. Sure it can be done good or bad but its going to happen eventually. If stuff ia the same forever then it will end up as a bore.
That's a pretty dumb take imo. The endgame is what everyone talks about in HSR as being its biggest selling point against...another..gacha game. It's an incredibly significant part of the game that gives characters meaning. The relic and gearing system also only matters in the context of challenging...well, challenging content. I just can't imagine many people genuinely enjoying and sticking with this game long term if they just ignore one of its biggest selling points. Besides the obvious resources you are simply forfeiting--reducing the amount you can pull in a GACHA game, what's even the point of playing HSR if you just ignore the endgame entirely.
I want to talk about some things in the cons but I will be biased since hsr is my life... -Firstly, even though powercreep IS INSANE in this game, new supporting characters can still make old characters as strong as the new ones. for example, a jing yuan with sunday could be nearly as good as an acheron if u build him right -Secondly, even though the 4 star to 5 star ratio is very low, THE EVENTS GIVE SO MANY FREE 4 STARS AND many 4 stars can be as good as 5!! for example, aside from the ones you mentioned (march hunt whose every eidolone is also free, hanya, moze and gallagher) and HMC, Tingyun is still one of the best supports in the game and pela is almost always the best option to use with acheron (with jiaoqiu), I also still to this day use my hyperspeed asta and she's one of if not THE best teamwide action advancers in game (thought she is very underrated) (-Extras: getting good relics are much easier then games like genshin since you only need 4 relic pieces and you can use support characters / autoplay to make is extreamly easy to get relics, and the planar sets are even easier since divergent unniverse makes it so you can get them without doing anything) also hot men AHEMEmgmgm ahem ahm hm... :3
The relic vs artifact part is just wrong. There are more potential substats in HSR than in Genshin, which makes it more likely that your relics roll into wasted stats. This isn't helped by the fact that a lot of the additional substats are just straight up useless on most characters. Ignoring the obvious def, hp, and flat stats that exist in Genshin also, in HSR, there are effect res, effect hit rate, and break effect, that are essentially useless substats on any DPS character (obviously excluding break DPSEs). Genshin has EM and ER that can haunt some artifacts too, but ER and EM are much more valuable stats for characters in Genshin than effect hit rate, effect res, and break effect for characters in HSR. Seems like a nitpick, but it matters a lot. Just think about how many pieces have been rendered useless because they rolled too much into eff res, eff hit rate, and break effect. You also need to worry about speed substate for most characters, another layer of rng. Continuing..sure, you only need 4 relics in HSR, but there are also planars that you have to farm entirely individually, so you actually need 6 relics, vs Genshin's 5. Genshin also enables you to use an off-piece to complete a set, which isn't doable in HSR. The upsides to HSR's relic system is that you can auto-play it to farm, but that's about where it ends. And even for the planars, you have to actually do the divergent universe first to be able to farm them efficiently, which, while it confers jades, is still a time sink. It is not as though you can just auto the planars before you do the divergent universe for that week. Just putting this here since I think you misrepresented the relic-to-artifact situation pretty badly. I play and enjoy both games, so no hate to either, just providing an objective evaluation.

I'm okay
I was thinking of starting over in 2025 but idk
Well is not a turn base as all events are base around fact u have to clear content in 10 cycle to having team with tank/healers are pointless as u will not clear the content, also all 3 endgame event are the same , even know they have different name, also fact that Hoyo dont buff older unit means u should never put money on the game as the unit u pull are out dated in 1~2 patchs later.
does it finally have a skip dialog option?
Unfortunately no
@Anekal-wwwj damn, won't come back till they do
Love the video, i highly recommend having a script ready for these types of videos, it might seem a bit better and more professional!
@ebozic620 I appreciate the recommendation but it is actually scripted HAHA Sometimes I accidentally make mistakes along the way and decide to keep some of them to make the video more funny and authentic/natural :)
some of the jokes seem to derail the point or just far too random. like the My Chemical Romance reference.
if you are f2p player, just don't bother to try it
So cringe, I love it
HSR meta in imo is still very easy. The powercreep ain't even bad, it's bad if you have skill issue both in planning and building your team.
It's also look bad because most of top gacha games don't really have that much endgame content. But if you do a research you'll find many gacha games have worse powercreep.
What gacha games? Did you played those games before? Are you f2p or a low spender ? How is planning a team considered as skill issue, ive built the premium dot team and they suck not because they always did, theyre mid because of hp inflation dont say its my fault since they were good at that time and i have no idea i just ruined my account, builds ? I have decent builds
Brah i havent played since the penacony update and thats cause my phone ran out of storage.Im so far behind now🥲🥲🥲
