Hard to believe she didn’t like her own voice. It’s so traditional and unique at the same time. Kelly Clarkson covered Jeremiah on her show. Amazing as well. Sierra is def in the drivers seat. I hope she has great support in her life. ☮️
@@JuanSoriaGuitar I was very impressed with the sound as well. Check out a fellow up here in Canada recording live music both indoors and out with amazing results. Mitch Fillion, he calls his project "SouthernSouls".
@@JuanSoriaGuitar Kudos to you, good human. Stellar sound in a very cozy setting in that room. I'd like to ask you what your biggest take away from the couple of tunes would be, and were you familiar with her/them prior to this?
It's the room, it let's you hear yourself because the walls are so close and the sound reflects back to your ears with no delay .... It's hard to do that in a large room full of people and up on a stage ... Instant favorite! I get those from time to time. I still remember when stealin' watermellons was my favorite for awhile. Ma Carter is the one who really did it for me. I can't wait to share my new favorite with my folks.
By now, she's got enough notice, and kudos, and talent, and a super body of work that she could be going all diva... but she's going (being) down to earth and nice - just listen and watch after both of these fine songs - lovely as usual!

This is fantastic and I'm on a Sierra jag right now. Got pretty close at Delfest, but these close-ups...woof! Perfectly said !

And recorded unto my dreams on a transistor radio fzzzz hug on a Sunday
Holy wow the bells of every chapel was the best version she’s ever done
Thought the same, she was on fire.
Sounding better than ever lately
Absolutely the best in every way for everyone, loved the outro too !!! 👏👏👏
Of any son wow
It blows my mind every time
Sierra is truly a once in a lifetime talent.
How is her voice that perfect live?!?!
Yes
She's been busking for over a decade making her voice perfect live!
Sierra and this fiddler found one other. And shouldn't separate.
When she comes to your town. Get out and see some live music. Travel a bit if you need to. You will be happy you did.
Seeing them in Door County in a coupla weeks....
Hopefully soon she will do a live album that sounds exactly like this !!! …. He voice is perfect when it’s captured raw like this 👌👍🏽
Just saw her, wasn't expecting to fall in love
I was raised on Billie Holiday and Jazz standards and what I hear in Sierra is a master. I love her and the band.
well compared/connected with Billie.
She said in an interview she has a country heart with a jazz mind. I hear a lot of jazz influence in her music too
@@rebecca9949 I was hearing a little gypsy jazz in her stuff once and a while and wondered!
The first time I heard her I thought the same thing! I heard so much improvisation and phrasing of a jazz singer, then I heard The Sea!
This is one hot band!!!
She has such a crispy control over her voice.

I know nothing. But that mic picks up her loving voice so easy and the mandolin and violin and bass. Everything’s so comfortable together
Plus her warm guitar!!!
It's called true talent and soul. The world has been robbed from this for some decades.
