Do shows still do previews like this? What a freaking brilliant idea and so well executed! I love how it showcases a lot of the super catchy tunes from the show while not exposing too much. God I miss this show, I can’t wait for it to come back
How have I never seen this video!!!!! I was lucky enough to see one of the national tours, and then I just saw a local performance in my city. This is probably my favorite musical.
@@kateburns9011 Well, not exactly. They ended up vending peanuts and sodas in the stands. The transition to America was much more difficult than Boris Johnson led them to believe it would be.
I loved this show! Got to see it in previews, just by chance, on a weekend trip to NYC. What a delight! Hilarious and fun!! Jefferson Mays is a marvel!!!
1:28 - Hmmm....they're playing around a bit with the order of deaths....the priest dies before anyone else in the musical (in the movie, it is indeed the junior banker who gets targeted first).
“We will spare you the grisly details of Lady Hyacinth’s death, and Lord Bartholomew’s, and Lady Salome’s and Lord Ezekiel” *i know it’s to prevent spoilers but still poor Jefferson*
I love Sibella's dress so much
This is a phenomenal preview of the show, and such a good way to convince someone to watch it.

I was confused about that too
I think it's because Ezekiel's death wasn't really planned, it was more of an accident but I could be wrong
Movie??
@@juanpedraw4245 Kind Hearts and Coronets, the movie that the musical is based on.
@@phoenixnyc Actually both the movie and the musical are based on a novel published around 100 years ago, in the time the story takes place.
I saw this at PPAC in Providence, Rhode Island last December, and I loved it!
Everyone’s attracted to sibella
No-I’m just here for Lauren 🧍🏻♀️

Anyone know what Phoebe says at 0:18?
TH-cam's automatic closed captioning says it's "The practice of I won all of them died in," but that doesn't seem quite right.
Sopranos so high they will all up and die I believe
"The sopranos sing so high when all of them die"
the soubrette (a type of soprano) sings so high, while all of them die
Mark’s is the most accurate
Much prefer the Title given to the 1949 British film adaptation, Kind Hearts and Coronets.
Plsss anyone know where can I watch the whole show ???? Any streaming services ??
If you're still looking for it, let me know! They never filmed the whole thing in this quality, but I've got a couple of boots!
There is currently a full bootleg on TH-cam

OH HELL NAW THEY GET MARRIED !
okay they’re in the same generation, (younger, shes 23 he must be 24-26) meaning she cannot be in line
I cannot stand these accents or this music accept sibella
Well Lisa O'Hare, Sibella, is the only one who is actually british so not surprising concerning the accents.
I mean yes, Jefferson plays around with his accents a little, they’re both British but man
Bad British accents: the musical
@@Niqhtmusic Jefferson is american. However I was wrong about only Lisa being british as Jane Carr (Ms Shingle) is also from England.
