Nice shave. Brush did very well. The razor is very interesting looking. My own sotd was my king c gillette with proraso red soap, after shave, and matching balm. Have a great rest of the week

My last SOTD: Dr. Jon's Cucumber Melon soap puck used as a shave stick, RazoRock Snowman brush, the Yaqi Romulus Open Comb with a Kai Pink Captain Titan Mild blade, and Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic splash.

Hi John nice shave today. My SOTD was a cold water shave. PAA mentholated cube pre shave, Proraso green soap, DE89 razor with Bic blade. 2 passes, cold water rinse, Nivea balm and finished with the old Brut 33 AS. I started wet shaving with a boar brush in the early 80s. Still have the old brush. I actually prefer boar brushes.

Today's shave of the day was with a new soap and splash that I didn't even know was coming, and it was AMAZING! Amazing enough to repeat the shave tomorrow. The scent is just like the tropical new world hops profile of a modern IPA.

Nice one mate. I have 3 boar brushes and found them brilliant once I treated mine to 3 days in the fridge 😂 I changed the water every 24 hours ish and dried it so it was damp then put it back in water again. I think it makes a difference. See if your mate says anything 😂

I know you’re a big fan of Stirling’s Piacenza. How does it compare to Razorock’s XXX when it comes to scent strength & quality of lather?
Hi brennan, there is no comparison for me, Stirling is way better on all departments, I think due a lot to the fact for me the scent of Stirling all tho more basic, is a lot stronger 👌👌😎👍😁
