I bought the carafe but have a Vertuo plus, so the pour over capsules aren’t supposed to work with it, BUT, I used the cut out barcode like in this video th-cam.com/video/a6GB2UhbsY0/w-d-xo.html and just ran it twice, works beautifully! Be sure to cut the ring off as well as the cup to get it to work. I also mashed the bottom of the capsule a little to ensure it fit in the machine. I was already running my capsules twice to get all the goodie out!
@@derekmenkensmyhomecafe. thanks so much for the reply! Just wanted to make sure it was a normal function. How is your machine running now? I will be getting one Next model but the one I had for a day had a bad housing on the right side and the machine had an opening it shouldn’t have had.

When you opened the chamber of the Vertuo machine, why was there water in the chamber?
Hi the water you could see was there because I had just done a pre rinse before I brewed the coffee shot.

It is perfectly clear and understandable when i watch it back.
