Be on the lookout for products that are not water based, or even ones that have no water in the ingredient list, they are definitely less likely to burn! The textbook example of it is vaseline.

Sephora has a skin scanning device that is supposed to color match your foundation, but it also analyzes your skin and recommends skin care products. I was wondering if you guys would be willing to try this out for a video or a podcast segment, to see how accurate this device is.

There are so many invisible factors to skincare (your underlying skin sensitivity, local humidity, personal skincare habits) that a simple camera analysis just isn't going to work. That's Sephora trying to bolster your consumerism. The camera can't tell you anything your eyes already can't, so that'll be noticing issues like hyperpigmentation, scarring, pore visibility, etc. Focus on learning about skincare, and experimenting with well-evidenced ingredients and products.

I’d love for you guys to do a deep dive into the debate on “drug store/Sephora-grade” skin care and pharmaceutical grade skin care. Is pharmaceutical really better? Is it worth the price? Are the ingredients really more superior as they say? Would love your take.

This is excellent! Just casual conversations about skincare and putting it on! The new Vichy Mineral 89 cream fragrance free is spectacular. It is the gel cream for dry skin. My skin looks so good with the stuff. I put it on top of their prebiotic serum. I’m just waiting for them to make a fragrance free cleanser, though, all three of their cleansers are excellent, and have a lovely scent to them, regardless. I haven’t yet tried Neutrogena Hydroboost line. I’ve never been drawn to it. But Vichy Fragrance free Aqualia cream is excellent too and a little lighter than the Mineral 89 cream.

Just a heads up, they have recently changed the formulation of the neutrogena hydroboost gel cream and because of it, it now has a completely different feel on the skin, it feels like it leaves a film on and that it hydrates less.

A few years ago my dermatologist recommended Neutrogena hydroboost gel and it had good results on my skin. Until months ago I developed allergies. My eyes would get puffy and my neck would get very itchy. I was miserable, and I didn't have the same results. My skin looks and feels different. I stopped using it, thank goodness I was able to return the opened bottle of hydroboost gel.

I absolutely love Neutrogena Hydro Boost!! It’s been my daily moisturizer for over a year now. The water gel is lovely in warmer months, while I prefer the gel cream during dryer colder months. I can’t stand the greasiness and heaviness of regular lotions, but the Hydro Boost has a lovely lightweight + smooth feel that hydrates without any of the ick. Can’t recommend it enough!

I’m really surprised you like the reformulation of the Biossance product, considering the overwhelming response from long time users absolutely not impressed about it. I was excited to try it myself when it was more of a gel consistency but now it looks exactly like the Omega repair cream (which I loooove) and I wanted something much lighter for summer. I wish they would have made two separate products, old formula and new one

In the past, I had acne on my face in multiple areas.
I visited the dermatologist and it worked out pretty good.
However, every once in a while I get 1 or 2 zits on my face.
The incidents and routine that were suggested to me were 2.5% Benzol Peroxide and Adapalene for the night
2 % Salicylic acid and 5% Niacinamide for the morning.
Can I use these for 1 or 2 spots I get every once in a while?

I've been using the Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream this summer. It's in a tube, which I prefer over a jar. And it's glycerin & squalane based, so it lasts all day on me. I've got dry combination skin, so water gel moisturizers don't usually have enough oomph to stick around on my skin - I need the squalane to help with that.

Can you please review Vichy Slow Age (that fluid in a glass with pump). I am having love-hate relationship with it. I love my skin after using it...but....sometimes it piles and that I do not like. What is worse than that is that if I sweat a bit or if I have teary eyes for some reason and somehow it gets into my eyes or I transfer it with my fingers and I rub my eyes for some reason, damn that hurts...it really burns my eyes. I have to be very careful when I have that product on my face. I do use eye cream around my eyes, it is far enough, but that is definitely not keeping it away from my eyes. I do not have this issue with other brands and products. (Have to pay attention on other Vichy products on this topic).
I would like to hear from you if that product is worth the trouble so I continue using it or am I just overestimating it and should move on to something else. Thank you

I’m 6 weeks into accutaine, the biggest problem seem to be post acne. Can I just use moisturiser for the rest 5 months and clean my skin of dark spots? I mean, will time help? Other stuff is dangerous now cuz the skin is so sensitive
