      I was wondering the same, have you come up with a solution? I was thinking of buying one of those pump weed sprayers so the long spraying wand can get right in there.

    At the end, is that the way you aerate by letting the wort fall from kettle to fermenter?

    • @homebeerbrewery
      @homebeerbrewery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes indeed, my simple way to aerate the wort. Works fine. Cheers

    I think I have share in tri clamps the amount I have purchased in the last few months, I think mine might come out of the box soon. I`m guessing the water was cold your hands were shaking. Have you used anything other than pbw for Cip cleaning

    • @homebeerbrewery
      @homebeerbrewery  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not yet, I didn't use anything else for CIP cleaning, only PBW. PBW runs out of stock here in our side of Europe, I will try something else to clean in the future. Hands shaking? That's me stressing around ;-) Cheers mate

    Can you not just let the sanitiser drain through the valve already assembled?

    Definitely dialing in your process and kit Glen.
    What is your average brew day (start to finish) time down to now?

    • @homebeerbrewery
      @homebeerbrewery  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It depends on the brew, but about 5,5 hours totally. Mash schedule, boil time and season makes a huge difference of course. Cheers mate, thanks for watching!

      @p3brews736 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@homebeerbrewery agreed, no matter how ready i am, it's always 5 1/2 to 6 hours and 3-4 beers. then cleaning begins.

    hey awesome video, was the spray bottle straight sanitizer or a mixture of that and water? thanks

    • @homebeerbrewery
      @homebeerbrewery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks! It's a mixture sanitizer and water indeed! How much sanitizer depends on the typem. I use Starsan or Saniclean. Cheers

    I can not understand why you are taking so much effort in sanitation but when it comes to assembly, you use bare hands. You touch items that will get in contact with the beer.my tip : Always use gloves (sanitised…)

    • @homebeerbrewery
      @homebeerbrewery  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great tip, thanks! In my opinion my hands where pretty clean and soaked in the sanitizer, even didn't touch the inner side of the parts that I assembled, what the wort touched I didn't grab with my hands or fingers. But thanks! Cheers :-)

      Nitril hand gloves are available at my hombrew supply store. Purchased them. Thanks again for the comment. Cheers
