Hi Glen. Longtime viewer/First time commenter! Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the brilliant videos. This one in particular has helped me massively. Keep up the good work! All the best from the UK.
Purge those kegs and add a spunding valve, you could do an oxygen free transfer. You can even have your fermenters fill the kegs with co2 while fermenation is going.
Happy New Year from Germany! Unfortunately, I only have an HD monitor, so I cannot comment on your new 4k camera, but the quality of your brewing videos is/was always top notch! All the best and happy homebrewing in 2020 - I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Good stuff! Maybe try kegging this way: Fill your keg completely with sanitizer, then add CO2 to the keg and purge the sanitizer (and sanitize your beer line at the same time). Save the sanitizer for future use. Connect the gas line from your keg to the fermenter, making sure it is purged, and the beer line to the fermenter's racking port.Open the racking valve to fill your keg with beer. The result - absolutely oxygen-free transfer. You'll need to have the fermenter's racking port raised above the keg for this to work of course.
Hi, Yes to push the oxygen out I use a low pressure, about 0,1 BAR. It's just enough to to fill the head of the keg and then release the oxygen, the CO2 Will push the oxygen out, repeat it a couple of times. Cheers
Happy New Year to you and your family. Do you get any wet condensation inside your keezer. I have anti mold in mine and still get lots of water and mold. I’m hoping you have a magic trick for this. You taught me how to build the keezer. Turned out excellent thanks again 🍻 The quality is very good. I can notice on the ipad even on 1080
Hi! have you ever experienced problems with CO2 escaping from the fermentor's lid gasket during transfer to the kegs? I was losing pressure and the transfer was extremely slow apart from the fact that I was wasting my CO2. Did you ever have such an experience? Thanks Cheers!
To be really honest, no I don't have that issue. I am transferring at a very low pressure, like serving beer pressure and never had any problems with it. I am sorry to hear that you aren't happy with that part of the brewing process 🙄 sorry to hear that, what does SS Brewtech say, did you contact them with this issue? Cheers
@@homebeerbrewery Hi! thanks for the help. Good idea, SS brewtech responds really fast I think I will contact them to find the solution because it seems to be a matter of sealing of the gasket ( i am applying pressure with a spunding valve at the level of 1-2 psi.) Thanks any way for the help!!! Wishing you nice brews!
Happy New Year! You did sanitize the beerline-connection with the picknick beertap but you don´t sanitize the gazline-commection of the keg? Is it not necessary also? Many greetings from Ostfriesland. ;-)
Hi, thanks for the kind comment. The reason why I didn't sanitize the co2 line is that if I sanitize the gasline I had to sanitize the gas splitter and the co2 thank as well. Gas doesn't apply that much germs. In my opinion this is enough :-) Cheers
With the beer burping, pure CO2, even normal fermentation of beer and wine combined with vegetarians farting, we are doomed. The only solution, stop tail gate parties, beer sales in Montana during the bear hunt. Camping out.
An interesting film, is it about a new camera or about an ss-brew tech fermenter or about keg to keg transfer, maybe a starsan promo? too long and too disjointed, you can do better Glen :)

Great information! Thanks for that! Cheers
Love the new camera - looks ace
Hey there, where did you get that co2 transfer plate that is clamped on the top of your fermenter?
Great content, thank you.

Very good video. How much pressure are you applying? I guess it's enough with a very low pressure

I'm interested in the rockets behind your printer... and what's happened to the carbide celebrations this year!? Happy New Year Glenn

The spray gun, does it contains no rinse steriliser? What concentration do you use?

Btw, 2020 sucked! (Good content!) ;)
you're putting co2 into that fermentor!....How dare you !
fake account. How dare you

@@LarryaproudU.S.citizen your comment has angered me! how dare you!
See the beginning of the video, 2020 had another plans.
Whos drinking all of the beer?
Me, myself and thirsty friends ;-) Cheers
You were exposed to oxygen there for a few minutes with the airlock off
