Jim Carrey grew up idolizing the unique style and imagination of Andy Kaufman. Although the two never met, Carrey always felt a sense of responsibility to carry on Kaufman's legacy. In 1999 Carrey embodied Andy Kaufman in the cult classic biopic MAN ON THE MOON. Then, almost 20 years after making the film Carrey released the documentary, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond. If the biopic was not proof enough that Kaufman was light years ahead of his time the documentary erases all doubt.
