That was a very interesting video! I wish I had found you sooner... I was in Mexico in the winter of 2919-2020, We started seeing signs going up about social distancing and washing hands frequently... around Christmas but I didn't think much of it. Then in March my sister called me and said she thought the border was going to close and I should change my plane ticket to come back to Oregon early... But I thought she was overreacting, so I stayed. When I did come home, I felt it was all a scam, so I mostly stayed home raising chickens and making a garden... Life was so crazy during that ... Anyways glad I found your channel :)

I started to watch your videos, im from Mexico city and i just can tell you that you have a so beautiful family! You remember the youtuber La Guerita. Who lives in Puebla in a small tow or pueblo and she came to Mexico because her husband was deported , but i admired her because she decided to come to Puebla state to keep her family together. And when i watch videos like her videos and yours now it make me happy to watch families likes yours. Congranstulations for your way to think .

When we moved to Mexico for a few months, that's when we began homeschooling. It was supposed to be temporary but we never went back, we love it so much ❤

@@marcelaromam800Living in a laid back homeschooling area helps a lot so you can do what you want. Like we were based out of Indiana and the homeschool laws in Indiana are so laid back that you don't even have to submit yearly paperwork or documentation.

@@jazzi3740we used our daily travel activities as curriculum. Focused a lot on life skills. We used some free programs that we found for math, etc. But most of our learning when we traveled was outside of a textbook. Where we lived, in Ajijic, we had decent internet so access to resources was not an issue. We never once paid for resources, all stuff can be found for free on streaming platforms, TH-cam, etc. It's important to start off with a laid back homeschooling home base, like Indiana or Georgia in the US where you can do whatever you want basically with no paperwork to submit or anyone hovering you about curriculum.

We started homeschool before all the "pandemic" stuff so we were thankful God had us start because we were already doing it so we weren't caught off guard as we will not allow our children to be subjected to any of what's going on. I am enjoying the few videos of yours as I am married to a Mexican and my children are half mexican as well. We are planning on having a homestead in Mexico and leaving the states. We are planning on the state of Jalisco . We were hoping to do possible real estate but now worried about a possible impending economic collapse so if you (having experience living in Mexico) can think of any business ideas that Mexico is lacking and not in competition with the locals please let me know. We also hope to start a youtube channel but need some residual income coming in so.any ideas we are extremely thankful for! Be blessed in your journey, seems amazing!

Thank you for watching :) I will try to post some more videos of the actual homestead but growing organic is a great way to make income. People here love eating healthy so organic is a big hit. it would also be a good ideal to open a smoothie shop or stand. Raising organic fed livestock is also a great source of income. I do my photography here and that really is in demand. Just pray about it and remember that god gave us all gifts to use. I am sure your family will find a way to use your gifts here in Mexico. We are also living in the state of Jalisco.

Why wouldn't you stay with your husband in Michigan until he would be with you and your kids? You could be with your family.
