- Hola everyone i hope you are having a beautiful, blessed day. We are building our house in Mexico, and it has had its ups and downs! So, let's start with asking God to give us wisdom through it all and then we start on lunch for the kids. We make lunch for our kids in the rancho school here in Mexico and I have learned so much to share with you.
Hola a todos, espero que estén teniendo un hermoso y bendecido día. Estamos construyendo nuestra casa en México, ¡y ha tenido sus altibajos! Entonces, comencemos pidiéndole a Dios que nos dé sabiduría a través de todo y luego comencemos con el almuerzo para los niños. Preparamos el almuerzo para nuestros hijos en la escuela rancho aquí en México y he aprendido mucho para compartir con ustedes.

Pray about adopting two street dogs. The one you just showed and another for his companion. Looks like you have two of each animal. The Lord will provide. Slowly introduce them to your other pet dogs. The love they give is priceless.

My friend is from Honduras and she just taught me how to play this game, I love it! She has six children and plays with her kids a lot on the weekends with this game. It was so fun!

When I was a kid the neighborhood used to have these massive loteria games.
Those were intense games let me tell you.
I never played with them because I was a kid and it was mostly adults and they played for money. Fond memories.

Erin, if I may suggest find an alternative for cuadrito se pollo/knorr. It has an ingredient- Glutamato that is a carcinogenic. For the pico i like using salt, black pepper, lemon. Just a suggestion, bendiciones ❤.
Thanks for suggesting that to her. I don’t use that knorr suiza cube at all, because I learned that more than 30 years ago. I prefer to use salt and any other herbs as needed depending on the recipes. Saludos in San Diego.

I forgot to tell you I am from Odessa, Texas
I go to bingo almost every Weds. We pay $5.00 for 10 pages and each page has 6 games. Last week I won 2 games. $12.00 on first game and $60.00 on last game, blackout. $67.00 profit. Last year our bingo table group had a Cinco de Mayo potluck and I took my Mexican lotería. Pinto beans used for marking our card. I actually have 2 lotería games. One has my maiden name on it and I’ve been married almost 42 years, so that one is an antique by now. Lol! We played for prizes that I put together. Lots of fun was had and my Caucasian friends were funny when they yelled out LOTERÍA!

Your frijoles always look so good. I can never get mine to look like that. Do you start with canned beans? Or do you soak and precook them yourself? Do you have a recipe for that part of the cooking process before you fry them with the chorizo oil? Like do you boil them with spices and bay leaves?

Congratulations on your new female president! I am making some caldo for dinner early tonight so that I can watch the Vice President debates here. I used some left over ground beef, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onion, snap peas, zucchini, fire roasted tomatoes, corn, with some sazón, garlic salt, pepper, garlic powder and beef bouillon for flavor.

For all us are lemons, these are very green, small and very ácid.
The limes, are limas for us, they are bigger, some sweet, a bit similar to Orange.
