EGT’s are high. Your tune might slow the truck down in order to protect itself. At least that’s how my Duramax lb7 tunes work. It will surge like that and slow the truck down to try and lower the EGT’s. Good luck!

High is 2000-2100. It’s for a stock charger truck running a max effort tune to see 1600-1800* going through the traps in the 1/4 mile.

DJ Shedd yes it does lmao, anything 1250 or over causes wear. Now I know 1250 is low I know how this shit works, spiking somewhere in the 1500 degree range is normal with a modified truck. But the melting point of aluminum is 1221 degrees. The hotter you get, the worse the wear gets on it. Put some different pistons in that’ll hold up to heat better and it won’t be an issue.
Jack from another dmax owner you need to launch that truck at about 20 pounds it’ll stop that shaking. Also check your fuel lines the stock lly rubber lines will collapse

Durtymax Jack Are you running a converter lock up box? I installed one this past year before starting sled pulling, but it is pretty helpful with strip racing as well. Allows me to lock up the torque converter manually as soon as I have hit second gear without having to put the truck into Towhaul mode and change the shift points. Between that and good trans tuning I was able to run a 12.79@104 with a 1.76 60' my first time on the track with my ecsb LB7 (stock turbo) truck weighing 6950 lbs with me in it back in October!. I've got a good track day video on my own channel if you care to see it!

Pretty normal smoke output for a max effort tune on a stock charger running 28k of rail.
