I like how they took the drugged energy drink idea and expanded it for the anime in ways that i never expected. In the manga it only really made an appearance in just this scene.
Legoshi kinda reminds me of Invincible; he keeps getting his ass kicked, sometimes because he's truly out-matched, but usually because it seems like he's constantly holding himself back.
@ Now that I think about it. Zootopia came out in March 2016. Beastars dropped in September of that year. It’s not only an inspiration, it’s an absolute roast of the Zootopia writers. Since Beastars is much more in-depth with exploring the subject Zootopia decided to bring up. What a mad lad, trying to fix the cinema-narrative dissonance of Zootopia.
@@hyjinx1889 Yeah, we figured this out in a different comment section. About the lost media novels. But I still can’t see this situation as a mere coincidence. If you read the prototype novels, does the drug idea already exist there? Or maybe there was some inspiration after all?
A couple of blows were enough for the reptile to lie down and not twitch. The cat got a disarming reception, a broken nose, strangulation, throwing to the ground, beating with his hands, beating with his feet. However, the sirens made everyone present run fast enough to think that the reptile had just decided to pretend to be a rug.
I know he is unaffected by komodo venom but it would be awesome if he could use it too. It would be a real ironic fate to the drug dealers if he sneezed it.

legoshi wen't Rorschach from watchmen, because Rorschach kills criminals and legoshi can beat up the drug dealers if the drug dealer's been defeated, those drug dealers deserve it anyway as for legoshi he reminded me of Rorschach from watchmen in that episode and i love it i was clapping and cheering when I saw legoshi start's crime fighting and i love it.
Drug dealers are oftentimes extremely paranoid because these guys are constantly on the lookout for cops and if they see something like a car or a person they're not familiar with they could attack even if it's not a cop.
He really just can’t help himself with getting involved. Bros imagining Louis hassling him about it. If there’s one thing you can say about Legoshi it’s that he stands by his own weird set of morals
I love a lot of changes from the manga, but I can't understand why did they change one of the most badass scenes from the manga to this. The drug dealers just let him here walk away in confusion, only for him to turn back after Loui's image from the distance prompted him to turn back and fight. In the manga, they wanted to kill him for discovering and being immune to their secret, while Loui literally stood around his frame and basically said into his ears - as if his instincts were talking to him - to be angry at them for a just reason and punish the drug dealers. And all of them were caught by the police. He actually had a reason to fight what was portrayed on a badass and exciting way in my eyes. I can understand them getting away here for the sake of the different story, but the other changes just don't feel right to me. It just lacks that savage punch what it had in the manga. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Really really wish Netflix hadn't made my money incompatible with their service when they pimped up Chapelle's transphobic crap. Was really enjoying this series.
No amount of money can make me go out & try to convince meat eating predators to drink something that only makes them more animalistic, especially when Legosi can do crap like that🥲

"fight" is a strong word, its more like legoshi tries to curbstomp some fool.
Tried?
Brother has broken ribs at least-
he woulda killed the man and gone away for life, better ending for the show than we currently have i guess lol
OMG THAT SADISTIC FACE at 2:17!
...I'm so normal for him...
Legoshi is a good boi and good person for defending himself
It looks even more sadistic in the manga
Dayum the smirk 😏
tbh I ovulated (I'm a guy)
Okay, but that knife disarm was hella clean tho
It was 😂
The way he casually and confidently walk at 3:27 i love it so much ! it's so.. manly
Everything about it is perfect. The walk, the music, his rambling. Amazing shot, amazing scene >w

Has it ever been explained how Legoshi was able to fight so well? Like...is he just instinctively a good fighter?
He's naturally built different, his grandfather is a Komodo Dragon which are ridiculous strong in nature
Other than getting it from his grandfather?
He worked part-time for a panda psychiatrist as an orderly catching crazed predators.
He Fight a Bear and Survive.
His grandpa is a the Komodo Dragon Rambo.
