i think the black water job went south because micah was ratting back then. a few people bring up that they don't understand the sudden police response on that job and that someone might have talked. but dutch doesn't get paranoid about a rat till the bank job in saint denis, which happened before micah supposedly got picked up by milton. there is also a newspaper clipping about the van der linde gang and a 1000 dollar reward in micahs first camp in the begining of the game after dutch sends him out scouting. i think that micah was always an opportunistic survivor.
