    Wo anders zahlt man Eintritt, hier bekamen die Leute vor Ort und auch wir hier bekommen spannende Unterhaltung für umsonst. Danke für die Aufnahmen. Schon interessant, was alles so schief gehen kann. Wahnsinn, was so eine Bergung für ein Aufwand macht. Der ganze Spaß kostete sicherlich mehrere 1000,- EUR

    En este tipo de trabajo rudo con maquinaría pesada no podría faltar los accidentes que bueno y gracias a Dios no pasa de lo material y el susto. Cuando tienen suerte en otros accidentes lamentablemente hay perdidas humanas. Es un trabajo muy arriesgado y hasta peligroso. No dudo de la capacidad y de la habilidad de los operadores que son dignos de respeto y admiración. Que dios bendiga a todos los operadores y camioneros en este rudo trabajo👍👍👏👏👏💯💯

    Talk about doing things the hard way! Just grab the thing around the track while it was still hanging before they set it down the first time and pull the thing upright as the crane lowered it. Could have done the whole thing in two steps.

    There are 4 lifting points on that excavator, 2 on the counterweight and 2 at the base of the boom. They only used one on the counterweight at the start. That cable on the boom was sketchy.

    • @Rimrock300
      @Rimrock300 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those 4 lifting points are made for lifting of the excavator in upright position. When those lifting point are not available out of different reasons, one get on with the job and use some of the many optional lifting points. The cable on the boom is just for balance, most of the load is at the cables on the excavator swivel, which is a heavy peace of iron no problem whatsoever taking the weight of the machine.

    • @tiredoldmechanic1791
      @tiredoldmechanic1791 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Rimrock300 At some point, you will have to put the machine in the upright position. Connecting one lifting cable to the right counterweight and boom lift points and the other to the left side lifting points would have made it easy to upright the machine in place and lift it to bring it to shore. Many machines have been uprighted that way. Even using the cable around the slewing bearing and another on the right side lift points would have allowed a more controlled upright on land. Putting cables around sharp edges isn't advisable. Chain should have been used with a double wrap around the stick to avoid the hydraulic cylinder.

    A couple of things:
    1) I would of loved to see the deflection of the boom on that lift.
    2)With all the riggers and operators on scene...That was the best idea they came up with to put it on it's tracks.
    3)Why did it take so long? The longest part should of been setting up the crane.

    I have to agree with Charles Burroughs, it also makes no sense why they put the excavator back out over the water and then hooked up the chain from the other excavator to it. All they had to do was get it on land, set it on the ground and as they let out slack, use the other excavator to hold the back ho arm up, so that it slowly tips back onto its tracks. I am sure Rempke paid out the ass for that recovery!

    What is this the Moe Curly and Larry Construction Company? I'll bet that costs a lot of money $50.000. to 100.000. and I love how the expensive crane has a $30 amber light on it. Where do they buy that Walmart or AutoZone? They probably broke the expensive light off so many times the owner decided to buy a cheap one. Was that Shemp Howard running the land-based backhoe? and none of them were wearing hard hats.

    Eine ähnliche Situation mussten ein Kolllege und ich schon mal beheben. Wir hatten damals ein Solarfeld als Baustelle. Der Boden des Feldes war aber nach langen Regenfällen nicht gerade sehr fest, so dass einer der Bagger die auf dem Feld unterwegs waren bis zu 2 Meter im Boden versank ( mooriger Boden ) Einen Autokran konnten wir da nicht reinstellen, also blieb uns nichts anderes übrig, als dass wir um den Bagger herum so gut es ging Baggerplatten verlegten, der Kollege mit dem zweiten Bagger seinen Arm über eine bereits fertig gestellte Reihe von Solarmodulen hebte, seinen Arm dann am Arm des versunkenen Baggers ankettete und ich damals mit einem Teleskoplader hinten an den versunkenen Bagger ran fuhr, zwei Ketten am Teleskopausleger befestigte und an dem Bagger hinten am Fahrgestell, der Kollege den Bagger dann vorsichtig anhob und ich ihn im Kriechgang rückwärts vorsichtig aus dem Loch nach hinten heraus zog. Die Aktion dauerte fast drei Stunden. Am schwierigsten war es, den Bagger da Millimetergenau heraus zu ziehen, denn die Reihen der Module waren da 3 Meter auseinander und der Versunkene Bagger hatte ne Breite von etwa 2,80 Meter und es kam noch dazu, dass das Solarfeld auf Hanglage gebaut wurde. Einmal ne falsche Bewegung von meinem Kollegen in dem zweiten Bagger oder von mir und es wäre da ein Sachschaden von mindestens 100.000 € zusätzlich entstanden. Die letzten Reihen des Solarfeldes wurden dann mit einem Helicopter einer Spezialtransportfirma aus der Schweiz aufgestellt, weil da gar nichts mehr ging mit irgend einem Fahrzeug da unten rein zu fahren. Die Stützen der Module wurden da nach altertümlicher Art mit Vorschlaghammer in den Boden reingehauen, was ja sonst auf dem Feld die Bagger gemacht haben und die fertig gebauten Elemente wurden mit dem Heli da runter geflogen und per Hand befestigt. Trotzdem wars für die Kollegen und mich die geilste Baustelle, die wir jemals gehabt haben. ^^ Das Solarfeld steht übrigens in Höslwang bei Bad Endorf ( Rosenheim )

      Obviously didn't see the whole video. The excavator was lifted out of the water and neatly put on it's tracks again onshore, with none additional damage whatsoever.

    • @aib0160
      @aib0160 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Rimrock - Yes I did watch the whole video. Firstly I would suggest that the excavator that was used to assist the lift could have been better utilised to build a temporary ramp down to the stricken excavator and at least right it and if not drag it out too. That would have saved the need for the mother of all cranes being deployed. Secondly, there didn't appear to be any sort of a lift plane as it was clear they were making it up as they went along. And thirdly,nobody was wearing any high viz clothing or obvious protective equipment other than those that went in the drink to attach the lifting gear. There was also no clearly identifiable banksman and all appeared to at times give their own instructions to the crane operator. You'd think with the "harmonised" standards across the EU all would be obliged to adopt the same requirements as we do in the UK?

      @Rimrock300 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@aib0160 there are room for different ways of doing things, I guess, depending on the situation and locality. They could done it your way or some other way, and you bet some other guy would come and said 'this is terrible and extremely unsafe, they should done it like this: '. The Germans are in general extreme when it comes to rules, I'm sure the police and local authorities would been very quick at the scene and stopped it if something too crazy out of all rules where going on.

    • @aib0160
      @aib0160 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Rimrock300 - Agreed there are many ways to achieve the same ends. The point I was making is they didn't have a complete plan from the outset and we in the UK wouldn't get away with working like that.

    Not sure I’d want to be in that water in a wet suit with the gas/diesel and oil mix. It still allows that to come in contact with the skin, and could still burn,
    Not sure if you could even wash it out good enough, so a new wet suit is in order.!!

    They made a simple up righting of equipment hard, the simple thing to have done is bring the excavator over some more to have enough room.Then let the lower side track catch ground as the lift crane moved it's boom back toward the river. Now this action would have started the excavator to lean back toward higher track which with careful spooling out=down cable would control lean over back to being on both tracks,the cable that went thru knuckle of excavator boom would have kept from going over all the way.

    • @rakwar

      You must be a poor one then cause nothing did go wrong did it and you were not there to see all the angles it was connected. The other heavy equipment and amount of cables and chains they used made it a non-safety issue so when you openly say a safety issue and do not explain where an how ....your opinion at that point means nothing and your claim as a safety professional is highly in doubt as a professional would have stated clearly what the issue was. The only issue I had with it was where they uprighted it when they had plenty of SAFE room to do it on more accessible and flatter ground then the water and still be able to safely get the other vehicles out of there
