How to Boot Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop from USB Drive | Lenovo Bios Settings

- This video shows you how to boot a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop from a USB drive.
In some cases, the bootable USB drive does not appear in the Lenovo laptop's boot menu or Windows setup fails to load from it.
It is necessary to make some changes in Lenovo bios to be able to fix issue of bootable USB drive not launching Windows installation setup on ThinkPad laptop.
Since Lenovo Yoga, X1 Carbon & ThinkPad T450 series do not include optical DVD drives, they can only boot windows from a bootable USB drive.
You can download and install Windows setup from a USB drive by following the link that will guide you through making a windows bootable USB drive.

IS posible start Linux that same way from USB drive ? ( No need to install Linux pc hard drive ) ?
My device is stuck on a screen that says boot menu. There is an window boot manager but none of the buttons seem to do anything.ESC, enter and the arrow keys do nothing. Control, alt, delete does nothing. Holding the power button makes the device seem like it's going to sleep and waking up on loop, so a hard shutdown isn't happening.

I don't have secure boot option in security menu
some of the options are unable to change. like the UEFI/LEGACY BOOT. THE OPTIONS ARE GREYED OUT AND I CANT CHANGE THEM. HOW DO I GET AROUND THAT?

I have Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Yoga Gen6 When I’m in BIOS I can’t disable Secure Boot in Security menu I can’t change any booting order plus USB drives are excluded from boot priority order in Startup menu No drives visible in Boot Manager. Does anyone know how change any values in this laptop’s BIOS?

Do you know how to fix issue with the bootable media not being recognized in the device startup menu? I'm trying to install a new W10 OS but the media is not being recognized. This is on a Lenovo Ideacentre PC. Thanks! =).
Update:
I see my bootable media in the excluded section but I don't have an option to select with the exclamation symbol. I'm also unable to remove it from this section using the arrow and plus minus keys. Any tips? This again is on a Lenovo ideacentre pc. Thanks! =)
