My rule of thumb. If I didn't buy it personally from the perth mint or swan bullion directly, I don't trust it. The price of the 10 minute ride is normally cheaper than any discount I will get buying second hand unless its a fake to begin with
Pity you didnt show the close-ups of the fake at the end of your video. Also you only checked for superficial packaging errors that could easily be rectified by the counterfeiter. What about the material itself? What are the fakes made of? Whats the density? Magnetism? Sound?
The problem with your method is that once the bar has been removed from its assay card it’s value decreases. It will be near impossible to sell it to private buyers and dealers lacking proper equipment will want to acid test or maybe even drill the bar to determine authenticity. The best thing is to always buy from a trusted source.
So how did you profit from this sale on eBay after selling that fake bar, I understand that you have to make back $ from buying fake bars & showing how easy to scam others on eBay. It’s ok we understand that you need $$ & didn’t want to deceive others however seeing you got away with it with unsuspecting clients. Just confide & admit guilt, then you are free……..
Very nice video my friend.
Thank you for watching and ur support sir .

The font is always sharper on the real one. The fake gold has bold font everywhere.

...or just get yourself a Sigma. Nice video by the way.
Having a scratch code that we could enter on the perth mint website would solve that problem

Ebay is 90% fake. Even a bigish dealer has fakes listed.
