I've been thinking about this a lot recently. Looking at getting a stage 2 "drift cam" kit from Michigan Motorsports and I don't know much about setting springs and pushrod. That BTR install tool looks nifty and easy.
For most setups people don't usually shim the valve springs. When you get into the higher rev stuff it's more common place. You do however need to check pushrod length for a change like that. If using stock or ls7 type lifters you have a good range of sizes that will work.
Great video do you have a part number for the shims. I have 1 piece valve seat seals on my 799s and need some shims. Thanks
