How did you align the snap gauge to the correct step on the retainer? Would it not be easier and more accurate to use a height mic?

At 6:53 you say there is 628 lift. Did you take the rocker arm ratio into account? Thanks

id love to hear your take on lifter bleed rates and todays hydraulic roller camshafts. Ive had issues with motors in the past where the lifter bleeds down too fast, which cause issues on initial start ups, ive never got a legit answer from the cam manufacturers as to why this happens and what the remedy is. ive seen countless discsussion on forums and no one ever has an answer either.

I've heard of it also. I used to approach it differently. I thought it was me not choosing the correct lifter for the spring pressure I was running but now I'm starting to think otherwise.

@@ls87gbody i agree, i think its a widespread problem that probably just boils down to a compromise.. Although ive heard of guys using solid lifters on a roller cam, sounds interesting..

So I got a stupid question
    I’m going to rebuild a f22b1 in a accord (I know get the h22)
I plan to regrind the cam once I start rebuilding the engine and tranni
Why would I need to do this? To find how much lbs it can take in pressure?
And how would I know how much pressure my engine would produce

What’s the best way to send you pictures? I recently bought aa 6.2L out of an 11-13 Escalade that I’m turning into an Ls3. I have a few questions that I’m not able to find on the forums and I want to do it right.

I got a maybe retarded question. My current application I have AFR heads max lift on springs is .600 my max lift on cam is .624/.614. How bad is that? And will it make a knocking sound.

I mean no offense by this , but if you don't know what a retainer is you don't know what a lock is you don't know what a spring is or cylinder head then I don't think you're going to be worrying very much about coil bind or valve height,
