    Enjoy your vids Rick. The hades are working well in my notos. Took a pigeon at about 50 yds.

    This maybe the first Umarex product that I may purchase since the Gauntlet gen1 which I dropped a ton of money in and still didn’t live up to par for my taste. This gun is so similar to what I already have. A regulated Diana Bandit with camo stock and on .22 cal sending 18.13 grain pellet a 700 FPS for 3 mags. I really hope these guns do better than that.

      My Walther Reign shoots H&N HP 21 he. Slugs at 160 yards hitting a squirrel target Everytime. I'm completely blown away by that AIRGUN. It out performs alot of top notch Airguns. I just got a AGT VIXEN SHORT and it's a Lazer gun for sure. One hole 5 shot groups at 50 yards.

      I'm loving my Notos. It accurately delivers an 18.1 gr JTS Dead Center pellet at 723 fps (7 shot string, extreme spread of 3 and a standard deviation of 1.5). That gives me 21.0 Ft/Lbs energy at the muzzle. Despite everything I've read about 3 mags (21 shots) per fill, after 28-30 shots the reg is still at 2000psi in my Notos. Not bad for an air pump friendly rifle with a 66cc tank.

    Another great video. These pellet "shoot outs" in different guns that you do are a pleasure to watch. Please tell the guys at Umarex that the Notos should come to South Africa if you get the chance.

    Great video! I’m really enjoying my Notos out in the backyard! I put a 2 MOA red dot scope on it which works just fine but I’m really thinking a good small scope will find it’s way onto the gun. I’ve been shooting it from 15 yards out to about 30. Plinking mainly. Been trying out a Crosman Premier, hollow points and JTS and the Gamo Red Fires run really well through it. On one occasion, I tried out the Gamo Rocket pellets, in 14.5 grains, and somehow one of the BB’s separated from the pallet in the chamber, and it rolled into the moderator. I was able to get it to clear out without disassembly. Overall, it’s a great little gun, especially for backyard shooting! And the fact that it’s regulated makes it even better! Thanks for bringing these videos to us in the shooting community!

    Maybe the reg is slow to reset? Maybe count to ten before each shot and edit the dead time out.

    Not a big fan of Umarex but I am a big fan of Snow Peak and this gun looks very much like one of their products. If I’m right this gun will be in my grandsons hands soon. It shoots pretty good for the size of barrel in it. Looks like a keeper.

    I commented in your last video as well. I have both Hatsan jet and the notos. Both of these guns shoot the very affordable 14.3g crossman premier hollow points very well. I have tried at least 10 other pricier, heavier, and fancier pellets and none of them can match the crossman premier in my guns.

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ll give them a try again. My experience has been terrible, at least with the last batch from Walmart. You can easily feel the variances between pellets going into the beech. I need to do a video showing just how bad the head sizing can be on the CPHPs and others too.

      @AirGunWeb I sometimes come across a few with deformed skirts in the can. They are so cheap that I don't mind tossing a few away. They don't run well in my more powerful guns, but these two carbines seem to like them. That has been my experience. The H&N pellets are great in my Airforce escape .25 caliper. The JSB pellets are good in my Bullboss .22 with Huma regulator.

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NsUtubechannel - dented skirts happen.. what I find is wild variances in head size. "Back in the day" when I was doing RMA work for Hatsan, we had a ton of the 125 snipers coming in with blow seals. The common denominator was the use of the Crosman premier hollow point pellets. After testing, I found that I would have some that were very hard to push into the breach, while others would literally just fall down the barrel. The lack of back pressure due to the undersized pellets was causing the seals to burn up. I found the same issue today with the tins that I have. I test them, but I've yet to find a gun (that I own) that shoots them with any real consistency.

    I may have missed it, but wondering why you are shooting these heavy pellets in the low-powered guns? My Notos does great with lighter pellets

    • @Jeeper1378
      @Jeeper1378 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wouldn’t consider the notos a low power gun. 20 yards my poi barely changes switching between the JSB 16’s and 18’s.

    I’m going to purchase the Artemis PP 750. I have read that some owners have gotten up to 33 or more FPE and I think around 800 FPS. Have you done any videos showing how in which modifications you should do to achieve this level of performance?

  • @226eagleeye
    @226eagleeye 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    From what I watched on various other channels this gun prefers the 14 to 16 gr pellets. Doesn’t like the heavies as is evident here. (I mean 20 yards should have been a one hole)

    • @stevengoodman3498

      Stock is removable so it becomes a pistol. Pistol grips are $9.99 at Pyramid. Suppressor is molded to barrel so it is permanently attached.

      @@AIRGUN4LIFE I here that a lot but see a lot of people shooting the same ammo. All barrels should in fact be the same if they were cut on the same machine.

    • @AIRGUN4LIFE
      @AIRGUN4LIFE ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, every barrel is definitely different. I've had 2 of the same gun more than 4 times and they all liked different pellets. I was surprised by that, but it's definitely a thing. I believe it's more the crowns of the barrels more than anything.

    • @dougiefresh3767
      @dougiefresh3767 ปีที่แล้ว

      @AIRGUN4LIFE LOL! But they all like the same speed? Everyone that shoots pellets in .30 cal shoots them at 880, and .25 930-950, and .22 930-950. I can say I have 3 AEA CHALLENGER STANDARD LONG STOCKS, and they all shoot the exact same AVS .303 55 grain slug, so I guess it's a pellet thing. 2 are for sale if you're interested you can see for yourself.

    Rick where did you find that they are regulated. Umerex description on the site says nothing about that. Nothing on the box. Is it non adjustable? The adjustment under stock? Not finding anything on the web. Cool gun as they are an Artemis. Not criticizing just no info. Thanks.
