I went through this video wondering what you were going to do for the binding! I love it!! I love this quilt and it is a really great idea. I do have a problem with fabric that is too pretty to cut. This quilt would definitely work with it if I could tell my heart it is OK to cut the fabric!!

Thank you fpr also showing the quilting. Recently, I found most videos seem to stop after piecing and then only show the finished quilt from afar. And the actual quilting is still a little scary. So seeing it is really helpful!

Everyone else may be used to quilt rulers like the one you used here. I've never seen that before, and not the way that you did that. It looked simple yet stunning and efficient. If you don't have a video on this already, simple quilting with rulers? Your quilting looked so orderly and doable with a regular foot and not needing a fancy machine to do it.

It’s been a rough 18 months for almost EVERYONE! Give yourself some grace and rest and recharge as much as you need to. I lost my mother and my beloved husband within 4 months of each other. It’s a wonder I’m not locked up somewhere. So much to deal with emotionally. Quilting and the quilting community in general helped me to get through it. I also suffer from depression, but my meds really, REALLY helped during this time. Bravo to you for sharing, and being able to come out on the other side, no easy feat for anyone, given all that you have been through. You are my quilting inspiration. LOVE your down-to-earth practical videos and advice. KUDOS to you and to your continued success!!

That is one of the most beautiful of all the quilts you’ve shown us!! Just gorgeous. I think it would be great if you do a video on the beautiful binding. I as a beginner quilter am still binding challenged. It has to be because I’m left handed. I really love the way you quilted it. You used rulers for the different shapes. I really enjoyed your interview onQuilter on Fire. It was great to hear how you came to love quilting. Thank you for all you do to inspire those of us who are new to quilting and have fallen in love with our seam rippers. Thank you so much for the free pattern. I can’t wait to begin.

Just the quilt I need to make! I've been reorganizing my sewing room and found that my quilt scraps and fabric reproduced when I wasn't looking! I found fabric scraps from dresses I made for my daughter 25+ years ago - scraps just too pretty to throw away. And, like some of you, found that I have fabric I don't remember buying. Now, I need to make some scrappy quilts (for charity) and other quilts from easy patterns just to get out from under the growing mountain of fabric! Thank you so very, very much for all the great videos on scrap and fabric management! 🌼

This is a great, fun, quick, bright quilt for those times we all have when we need some sunshine in our lives. Your videos are always so upbeat, informative, fun-filled and educational! You and your videos helped me so much during the COVID lockdown. Now that we are able to move around more, gather with friends and share our quilting with others in person, your videos are just as important. They always have tips on how to better tackle techniques and always remember to have fun with our quilting. Hope making this quilt and time have helped you feel better. This past year and a half have taken such a toll on our lives-physically and emotionally. We need to remember to always be gentle with ourselves and take the time we need for ourselves. Thanks for all you do to brighten our lives!

I love this one! And your quilting design is perfect. Thanks for sharing a great project. It's full on summer here and everything is open, but I'm contented to keep enjoying my introverted life. So much to do and read and stitch and bake right here. Feel better Karen. We've nowhere to go but up!

So sorry to hear that you are a bit down, especially whenever I watch one of your videos it brightens my day so to see what you've done next! What a great binding idea for this quilt, it's perfect!! I am a garment maker generally but all your how to videos are giving me the courage to dip my toe into the quilting world although I dont know how many I could actually use here in Florida!
