      I mean, it's obvious, quite a number of mistakes:
      - The creature is supposed to be nocturnal for exemple, but on the drawing at 5:17, it is portrayed in the fields exposed to the sun.
      - Or "Hot Dogs" written pretty fluidly, exept for the last letter written backward 🤨
      (Don't see how a kid could make such a leap in the lapse of a short drawing).

    i'm not very affected by ARGs and the like, but this one actually filled me with dread. my irrational fear as a little kid was always dinosaurs, and even now as an adult i can't say it has completely gone away. from the first picture of the dinosaur i was already hooked and terrified. this was so good.
    side note, everytime the screenshots included a comment it was kinda funny to see how bitter twitter users are that they even get mad at ARGs. like those people do not like fun lol

    I like how the dinos seem to behave in ways that make sense for their ecological niches.
    The raptors are the most dangerous because humans are easily in their expected prey size range. So they quickly start adapting to prey on humans since their normal prey is unavailable.
    The microraptors are just as smart as raptors, but they're too small to pose a threat to a human. They behave a lot like modern-day corvids who are also intelligent, can be trained and will respond to kindness in kind.
    The T-rex or other large predator is actually not as dangerous as the raptors because it primarily subsists on much larger prey items. It's not actively interested in something as small as a human, kinda like a lion won't normally hunt a mouse.
    Edit: initially thought the microraptors were archaeopteryx

    • @hollyday1658
      @hollyday1658 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +67

      The "archaeopteryx" are actually Microraptors! They are some of the few dinos that we know what their plumage looked like thanks to excellent preservation of feathers, including iridescence. Very cute little guys with four wings (flight feathers are present on legs).

      @catpoke9557 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +16

      @@vardiganxpl1698 Surprisingly some estimates put humans at the perfect size for a snack for a T. rex. Basically we were just big enough to make them feel full for the day (according to some estimates, again it varies a lot depending on the estimate) and so we might actually have been worth hunting for them. Probably not so much that they'd do a full on chase, but if they had a chance to ambush you, or just really wanted to eat/chase you for whatever reason (animals sometimes hunt for fun, after all) then they might actually kill and eat you. Assuming they even recognize you as prey, which predators usually don't recognize foreign creatures as prey.
      Dromaeosaurs are still the bigger threat because they definitely would view humans as worth chasing, especially if their normal prey wasn't around. It's not a "maybe" like with T. rex, but a "Definitely."

    • @johnathanmonsen6567
      @johnathanmonsen6567 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Similarly, while the herbivore dinosaurs definitely wouldn't see humans as possible prey, if they ever do show up they'll STILL be extremely dangerous, just like how Hippos and Elephants are extremely dangerous IRL. They don't want to eat you, they just sensed movement and hate your general existence on principle.

      5 feet tall, smart, nocturnal...
      Tyrannosaurus at at most 1 of those things but that's lacking evidence.
      Could be pointing twords more of something like a Utah raptor or dinanocus given the looks point to more recent studies of how it looks.
      I'll need to check what kinds of raptors would be native to the area.

    The implications of the "weird bird" saying "Are you hungry? You want hotdog?" is absolutely horrifying considering the fact that we know that the neighbour's kid was feeding them hotdogs. Them saying "Daddy. Daddy. It's ok. Daddy." is also utterly terrifying as it sounds like a scared child talking to his dad. Also, the deeper voice when it says "It's ok." implies an older man, a father, trying to comfort his son in their last moments. Also, R.I.P Mike.

      damn some people don't realise what an ARG is. I like how you fit into three camps with these 1 you don't know it's fake & believe this really happened (which for this works probably until you reach the point when its larger than the single area the guy lives but a young kid may believe past that or with some ARGs which act like its some parallel dimension such as the sun is gone ARG which I believed was real when I was younger) then you have the people who can tell its fake but miss the fact that its a story for entertainment & not designed to make you think its real kinda like a film but people are less likely to realise its an art form. Then you have the people who know its fake & just enjoy the story which I'd say is the majority of people who stick around.
      I always thought the ARG creator acount wasn't meant to interact with people in a way that admits its fake as the account is the character you are following in the story but then again there is no rules & its just hilarious as you said.

    what i love about the part in which they learn how to "speak" more normal, is the fact that they had to learn it from an actual person. which means the words "don't worry, it's ok" or "please help, somebody" means that they learned that most likely from stalking and killing people. I find that pretty interesting and a nice detail to think about (also i haven't watched the full video yet and i'm posting this beforehand so if something like this is mentioned already then don't mind me yapping.)

It especially hit hard around the last 7-10 min of it because Mike died and it felt like a connection between the two and his dog leaving him after not seeing him for so long, and when he payed down with Mikey’s pack and finally accepting death.😢😢😢

      I have an idea about them coming back.. so later in the story the main character said he thought those glowing lights could be wormholes and I don’t think he was far off the reason why is because I think that the glowing lights were wormholes opening up in time and dinosaurs were going through them into modern day time. Now I don’t know how the military didn’t stop this in a few weeks Ik they can be smart but a big enough wall or gun could kill any given dinosaur. Although I presume that there prob evac zones kinda like the ones in the last of us but anyway from context it seems the town or city he is in or goes to is looted. And pretty early on he states he hears gun shots screaming and ect.. that probably meant the police or army were trying to kill whatever a could orrrr it could be those men in suits with a weird badge that had a globe on it.
