Instead of traveling maybe you could do virtual decluttering sessions. I'm sure there's a way to record them. Then you could edit them and upload them to TH-cam. I don't know why, but people helping others declutter are my favorite decluttering videos.

Great how well you work together. Heather’s decluttering muscles are getting so much stronger and I love the way she is realising that it is her opinion of what looks good on her and what she likes wearing that counts, and not the opinion of others. Karen, your idea of helping others declutter would be a fantastic idea, as you have demonstrated how good you are at doing this with Heather and a few other people local to you. As someone else in the comments suggested, you maybe could consider doing virtual decluttering sessions to help people if time or travel costs are prohibitive. You never know it could eventually become a second business strand for you in the future. I feel there are plenty of people who need help one-on-one with personalised decluttering advice, who are not at the stage of allowing others into their home to help them (perhaps due to embarrassment or because others in their households wouldn’t appreciate it). This is where virtual decluttering consultations could be such a valuable service to offer.

Great job letting go of so many clothes. I noticed many of the spare coathangers are white. Have you considered swapping the spare white coathangers with the coloured hangers in the wardrobe/closet for a more streamlined look?

I hope your dream of being able to travel and help others declutter comes true. I used plastic hangers, but each person has a different color, and when I take something off the hanger, I put the hanger in a soy just for empty hangers. I just feels a little less cluttered. Plus I hate seeing hangers that are empty sticking up when they are empty, like someone just pulled a shirt off and the hanger is just lopsided in the closet. It drives me crazy!
Yes I had to go to velvet to keep shirts on the hanger! 😃

Helloo Karen, my what a great team you two make😊, I think most of us get a little shocked at just how many clothes we accumulate, I’ve come to the conclusion someone is always after my money, convincing me I need the latest shirt or bag etc, I’m not on that course these days, we’ve become such consumers haven’t we. I love your analogy of ‘it cost less than eating out’ puts it into perspective for sure. Great energy coming off you both, made for great viewing, but then your videos always are like that.

watched agaun and went through my minimal fall winter bin and put in my Elfa unit. We still have a lot of warm weather left, so will not start packing any summer items away yet. Made a list of what I would like to replace.

I would hate for you all to see my clothes. I’m retired now but I probably have 2x’s that many clothes and I’ve gotten rid of a lot when I first,quit work.
We all have our areas for sure! I might have more if my size wasn’t constantly changing or if I had a bigger closet! 😄
