    I have been living in prefabs for a few years now, due to the nature of my work. They are practical, and would love to get myself one back in Kenya. Ideally, prefabs are made to last for 10 years. They rust when exposed metallic areas come in contact with water, so be careful around the bathroom especially. Well done Grace, following your content.....

    ●° Globally, pre-fab expandable mobile units like this one could house so many homeless people; who live in different climactic topological environments.●° Could also be used for basic housing purposes; examples: offices (as you suggested); in school building "add on" situations... etc.●°Very practical; light weight; and seemingly sturdy. ●°Bravo, Grace.☆●Carry On.♡•

    @12:10: quick solution but not truly worried about the longevity......well buying a house is a big investment. How can I not worried about longevity plus I have no idea the REAL EXPERIENCES of people actually living in this kinds of houses throughout many years with all the harsh challenges of bad weather, storms, hurricane, earthquake, summer heat, winter cold, natural damages like bugs, termites, ticks, molds, etc. and the security against breaking in, thieves, etc.
    These above are actually what define A HOUSE, not a play room that just a little money that is sold for thousands of dollars or ten thousands of dollars???
    I hope these manufacturers actually think they do good, not want people think bad calling names.....I hear people call it scammers.....but I am not following the crowds, I am very open minded though.....I am still a lot skeptical.....

      This one is made in China and many people in different countries buy them from China if their own country doesn't make them. Here in Australia, we make them too and I can tell you they are very good. I suggest to look up different websites other than China and you'll see they are very durable. And, the China ones have very small impractical showers, whereas we have full-length showers. In Australia, some add-on options include; pitched roof, exterior cladding, and balconies. The materials are fire resistant, and they are water-tight when put up by the right people. We don't get many natural disasters in Australia except fires, so I'm not sure how they fare in other countries, but I'm sure they are fine.

      @donaldhall3308 you should see my latest videos. I think I have added more weight. If this small weight bothers you this much, I don't know if you will lose more sleep if you see me now. I know you will watch more videos so you can leave more comments like these. Don't forget to subscribe, and thank you for the support!😊

    Should have made the kitchen smaller and the bathroom bigger

    • @24JJ821
      @24JJ821 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It expands for easy delivery, so that can't be done. But if you have one bedroom you can have the bathroom longer as the bedroom door can come down closer to the middle. This also allows more space for a larger fridge. The companies welcome your design ideas, if they are made in your country.

      There's also a family living in one in Australia in the east coast on a farm somewhere. Her husband put an arched roof on it because they didn't put the cilicone sealant on properly and it kept leaking.

    How is it handling the heat ?

    • @24JJ821
      @24JJ821 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Very good as it is very well insulated for heat and cold like any other well built structure. The only part that is shipping container is the steel frame. It's on the internet for further info on the materials.

    So where doesn’t the water come from if you want to use it? Also if you use the toilet where does all urine and stool go to? I know the house isn’t connected to any pipes

      When you buy the land it should have water, electricity, and sewer mains. You need approval from the Shire like any building and then you get it connected up. If you don't do your homework on the land then you would have to pay more to set up solar panels and battery etc. and use compost toilets if the shire allows it. Assuming you live in Australia.
