I just got mine and immediately upgraded the fork to the RockShox Psylo Gold which is the air spring version of the stock fork with much lower weight and full adjustability, and even came with a fender attached! My LBS got it for me for just $435 installed. Can't wait to try it out!
Did pretty well on CCDH and Reverence! I somehow hit single lens mode and recorded my chest the whole time down Reverence unfortunately lol! Also went down Close Encounters so we've hit a double black successfully with it now as well!
@@sasquatchmtb I'm going with the GT e-force amp+ I have an old 08 force I upgraded to a 2022 force carbon pro a few years back and love it so sticking with GT great priced bike I feel
Great bike for commuting and singletrack! I don't notice the motor much while riding and I'm sure the mic probably makes it a bit more noticeable. Cheers!
I'm so excited for mine to come, i ordered it a week ago but its on the other side of my country so its currently in transit. I think its perfect for my style of riding, mostly firetrails and commuting, I'm keen to do minor upgrades like you too, riser bar and maybe some Maxxis recon race. Im from Sydney Australia :) thanks for your review
Hey man! Thanks for watching from Sydney! Should be great for commutes and firetrails. Plenty of power and battery life for exploring. Let me know how you like it!
I've been pimping my ramblas, so far suspension seat post rock bros comfort seat, new continental kryptotal's I'm 74 and don't do much schredding. BTW I don't think I have enough cable to raise the bars, I'd like to get about 2 more inches of lift,, can you tell me what you did and what riser did you get? Thanks !
Nice! Thank you for commenting! I added bars that have about 25mm of rise but I also added a couple spacers under the stem when I put a new fork on for probably another 20mm of rise. It is a little annoying to do with the headset cable routing, but I was able to make it work.
I have arthritis in my wrists (ya i'm 74) and would like to raise the bars a little, can you tell me what and where you got those bars so I don't get the wrong diameter or something? So far i've changed out the tires conti kriptotals, better grips, suntour suspension seat post, got rid of the dropper, I'm not shredding so don't need it.But the bars need a little lift, oh and thanks so much for your expertise!
@@johnspooner4128 The bars I used here are actually takeoffs from my Transition Spire. They are RaceFace 25mm rise bars and 35mm clamp size. I've been looking at these though as I'd like to add a bit more rise. jenson.sjv.io/LXJnG0

Looks like a pretty sick setup for $4,500 USD!
@@sasquatchmtb yeah be dearer than that in Australia but we'll worth it
You can’t hear the motor on mine I think maybe the microphone is making it sound louder, absolutely love this bike.

I forgot to ask you, do you know the diameter of the handlebars I should be looking for?
Thanks
No worries! 35mm clamp diameter on the Ramblas stem. I've been looking at these deity bars jenson.sjv.io/LXJnG0
