@@noway2788 After 3 decades of being an immigrant in other people's country, I'm finally back home in my country of origin. The first few years of being away from your home country are usually the most brutal. After a few years, you harden up and get use to it but never 💯%
@@XY-rh3if thank you for sharing that. How was it going back home after 30 years? Did you feel well integrated? I am thinking of going back home but am reluctant because I don't know how life will be when I return. Also the stigma of "going back home" being seen as a failure. I guess you can't decide your life based on people's perceptions of you, right? What do you think?
@@noway2788 I didn't have to return but I did because of racially motivated murder of Black People in America by primarily White Police Officers, who murder Black People on a regular basis, under the guise of self defense, fear or mistake. Infact the racially motivated official murder of George Floyd was the final straw that broke the camel's back. That said, to answer your question, it depends on which country is home for you. As far as I know, Kenya, South Africa and Botswana are some of the best run countries on the continent of Africa. Now let's talk about you. You'll be going home for you and not because you're going there for anyone. Whether or not you return with heaven and earth is nobody's damn business. Now if you think like I do, whereby I don't like attention, especially not for the wrong reasons and I'm humble and never trying to impress anyone, then it'll be very easy for you to return with whatever you have. Nigeria is only good if you have money. If you don’t have money or a helper you will suffer. I’m reminded how blessed I am when I see people who carry items for people in the market under the hot sun for peanuts. Some of their children don’t go to school. At least in the uk there’s a benefit system.
Thanks for showing us Akure. You didn't just take me back to Nigeria but also home town. I really felt at home seeing Oja Oba and the other places you showed. Great work. All the best and stay safe.
I just came across you today and definitely like your courage and determination. I am currently living in the United States and about to do something similar to what you have done (pivot). It’s scary but rewarding on the long haul. I hope you and I can connect at some point to collaborate. Keep doing the great job. Way to go!!!
Don't allow the US government and it's mainstream puppet media propaganda about against China, Russia and the rest of the world scare you. There's really nothing to be scared of. In fact, China is actually a better place than the US. Why do many people from Nigeria and other parts of The Continent call themselves black when actually their skin tones are between very dark brown and very light brown, like everyone else on The Planet?

Awww!!!Busayooooo!!! I love this!! I have a feeling your life is about to change forever. Your best experiences and biggest breakthroughs will happen here. Congrats girl. Looking forward to more videos
After 6 minutes into this video i had to pause and drop this comment cos i know how stressful editing such a video can be. I give you thumbs up👍🏽 and you are a good narrator as well. Maybe our female version of Tayo Aina🤗😉 Well done and welcome back to Naija🇳🇬

Great story, it is so captivating; I can relate to your story; especially living in Asia it is not easy for African; glad you decided to come back home ;
Good vblog. Also good to see a vblog not focusing on Lagos and Abuja. Wow...nice to see Akure. One of my sisters went to secondary many many decades ago when Nigeria was a booming nation. Nostalgia.
This was so nice to watch and makes me miss Nigeria! Not from there but Haiti 🇭🇹 and having been there for a long time, I not only fell in love with the culture but the simplicity of life; though, you can have it both ways there if you want and got it like that. Traveled a lot since I was a child to various countries in other continents, but honestly in love with life in Africa (particularly Nigeria), even with its craziness at times. 🥰🙌🏽 Thank you for sharing your experiences!!!

Nice one Busayo...l got to return to Nigeria from England by next year too.
The depression for immigrants in other countries normally comes from loneliness, culture shock and distance from loved ones, such as family members
i totally agree with you. Financial issues also play a big role in the anxiety and depression we tend to feel away from home. But God is good, always.
