Thanks for this video, Hayford. I am definitely looking into Nigeria at the moment. I also love that she emphasises not glorifying one land over the other. None are perfect, but both (Europe and Africa) have some valuable things to offer. Great conversation. :)
It’s cheaper to live in Africa if you come with your plan to succeed there and have cash from the west with you. Even if it’s the sale of a flat. You will be alright. Western skills will also sell in Africa. But you must forget the comfort of an ambulance racing to your apartment to save you if something happens. You stock and fill your first aid box and take a crash course in first aid before you leave the West. The hospitals are not as equipped as they are in the West. I know UK has huge waiting lists, it’s still better than Nigerian hospitals where all the best doctors end up in the West anyway. Unless you go private. One must consider the pros and cons. If you have even a small £50,000 cash or $50,000 dollars Africa is definitely the best place to live in.
@@alvanalvino I've been spending much time in Ghana for the past three years. You're right that there are advantages and disadvantages to living in West Africa. Nigeria is going through healing at the moment, and you can witness this by hyperinflation, and devaluation of the currency. The insecurity has to end in terms of rising insurgency, reaching out to those isolated, finding it hard to survive, especially in the cities, arriving from the village. It's very worrying how people survive on daily basis, without economic empowerment, and welfare system. Export market is at its lowest, and this is in reflection of the macro economy facing challenges that adversely contributes to the free falling economy, and stagnating at the rates we are seeing in the media. Shocking that she's expressing her personal opinion like this very is downscale. She heard this nasty words, but they're not relevant in her future success. She's a beautiful woman, but it takes alot of discipline to be a respectable lady. I would not manifest bad experiences, that happened to me, by speaking about it, except if i was ill and going through healing. Shaping this conversation to a pleasant one, might accelerate her connection with people if interest. I would not blame her, but experience is best teacher. Wishing her good life, and success.
Nobody is running to Nigeria. That is not to say that you cannot make it there. Nigeria is so far behind Western Countries in development etc which on the other side may present opportunities. For most the US, UK, Australia and Canada offer way better prospects than anywhere in Africa. Most would not be able to adjust to the complexities/lack of development of Africa/Nigeria.
Nigerians go to European countries and don’t come back to develop their country. That is why Nigeria is not developing, the truth is we don’t want our country to be better.
Nigerians have a serious ego, you can’t even compare Africa to Latin America in terms of development not to talk of the West. The West is light years ahead of Zoogeria and the rest of Africa.
Why is everyone moving to congestion Lagos, when there are far better places to live and prosper in Nigeria. I would rather go to Abuja, Port-harcourt, etc. People, do Lagos a favour, and spread out to other parts of Nigeria.

You are seriously trying to suggest you are worse off in the 5th largest economy in the world (UK) compared to one of the poorest economies in the world (Nigeria) which has had an 100% deflation of it's currency in the last 1 year. It is currently running inflation at 34% and fuel has risen by 5 times in the last 2 years. Tell you what ask her to give up her British passport and lets see what tune she sings. What pisses me off about these numties is what they are saying is all those Nigerians who leave family behind in Nigeria for a better life, who risk travelling across to Libya into Europe are fools. Apparently she is so smart she can just arrive in Nigeria and everything is fantastic. Absolute nonsense. Of course the UK is expensive. It is one of the most desirable places on earth to live. It has an unemployment rate of about 4% which includes long term sick. It is also one the few countries in the world where people of colour thrive. I write this as a British born Nigerian who has lived in both countries and more importantly worked for a significant time in Nigeria. There is a reason there is a Nigerian diaspora! And it is not because we do not want to be in Naija. After all ask her parents.
I don't understand the hostility! She's telling her own story not speaking to anyone else's experience. There are very many people who are a lot better off in Nigeria than living in the West: not just financially but in other areas of their lives.
@francis191 UK is a boring place. People are depressed in the UK. Who cares whether you are British-born? You are still a Nigerian. Your bloodline and ancestry is Nigerian, not white or English. You are just another African living in the white country. Being born there means nothing. The fkin problem with you Africans in the UK is that, y'all tend to put your culture down and brag about that of your colonial masters. Funny enough, some of you even call yourselves English! Isn't that pathetic as an African? A black person with African parents calling themselves English? Do you even know how many immigrants from the UK who live in Dubai, America, Asia and the rest of the world? Your stupid argument about Nigerians leaving their families behind for better life in the UK is not unique to UK. Stop the foolishness.
Those who risk going to Libya are fools. Don’t cry when you end up in slavery or dying in the ocean because you were too busy chasing illegal pathway to Europe.
I dont even understand all these BS. What is crazy, special about one moving to their home country, where their family are from? Is it because Nigeria and her government are clueless about developing their infrastructure etc.

Ogas, Nigeria can never be one we're different, okay, the hate is too much, i think everyone should go their separate ways okay, i guess she understood her tribe, and she can't talked about it
of course follow your master's direction, divide them so they can full control
Zoogeria is over
Why don't tell us what she can't talk about? Probably you need to look at yourself in the mirror.
3M is about $1,900
How?

Nobody is running to Nigeria. That is not to say that you cannot make it there. Nigeria is so far behind Western Countries in development etc which on the other side may present opportunities. For most the US, UK, Australia and Canada offer way better prospects than anywhere in Africa. Most would not be able to adjust to the complexities/lack of development of Africa/Nigeria.
I agree!!Especially the current polticial climate.
Africa is a joke, these Afrocentrists never learn with their delusions😂😂
@@sladewilson377why are you on this video if you have zero interest in africa, it’s weird

Why is everyone moving to congestion Lagos, when there are far better places to live and prosper in Nigeria. I would rather go to Abuja, Port-harcourt, etc. People, do Lagos a favour, and spread out to other parts of Nigeria.
They need to invest and Lagos is where the population is.
@@saidat98 Did you understand the point in my comment?
Presumably because Lagos is where they have contacts and work.
@@surpriserakins9067 All of them?
True true but supposedly things not as safe in other parts of Nigeria like Lagos
I went to the UK but is not my cup of tea
UK is not safe? And u think Nigeria as a country listed among the most dangerous countries in world and on 12th possition, is safer ?
Lagos is safer than London ,no random stabbing for nothing sake
UK media label Africa as bad place while the worse is happening in their land
@@kabifest8897the whole of the UK is dangerous not just London
Some children just got stabbed near Liverpool in Uk today

"sometimes i have to call a man for them to be like this is serious" I know the UK is bad but it's not that bad chill. Sheesh the way people bash the UK with lies is getting out of hand
I think she said that in relation to the challenge of living in Nigeria.
You refer to your experience in the West specifically as U.K. and England, not Europe- see the tomfoolery?
How do you mean, tomfoolery?. Do explain, pls.
So Nigeria year of return??WHAT'S UP?! Will there be light thogh? Ghana is fkn up so maybe it's Naija?
I think Nigeria's version of the Year of Return is called, "The Door of Return".....I'm not impressed with either of them to be honest...but it is worth moving to either country.
As a Nigerian,I can tell you I have 24hrs light, the light only goes off when there's an issue with the national grid or issue from the pole.
My Entire city has steady electricity can't say same for other states though.
I got no generator, nor power bank solely rely on electric power.

People give up their lives to come to the UK . There must b something they see. Anyway let’s stop deceiving ourselves Nigeria and most other African countries are sinking fast. I dare all those thinking of going back to AFRICA to give up their British passport but they won’t bcos that gives them the security to come back to U.K. when things go bonkers
Well said❤
@francis191 UK is a boring place.
It’s important to remember that your experience is not the same as everyone else’s ❤ she’s only speaking HER truth, it’s not universal.
Those who risk going to Libya are fools. Don’t cry when you end up in slavery or dying in the ocean because you were too busy chasing illegal pathway to Europe.
N 3million = $1911
I dont even understand all these BS. What is crazy, special about one moving to their home country, where their family are from? Is it because Nigeria and her government are clueless about developing their infrastructure etc.
There's no life in the uk
There is so much life in the US what are you talking about. This one person does not represent millions of people living in the US.
