  • Hi All! This is my attempt at the June 25th Daily with the Ironclad. The run starts at 1:13, and yesterday's review starts at 45:58.
The modifiers for this daily are:
    1. Heirloom: Start with 1 Rare relic (Du-Vu Doll).
    2. Diverse: Cards are not restricted by your character.
    3. Lethality: You start each combat with +3 Strength. All enemies start combat with +3 Strength.
My final score was 1081, which was not great. I perfected 4/7 of the possible Elites and 0/3 of the bosses.
Slay the Spire is a game created and developed by Mega Crit Games. An Early Access version was released in November 2017, and was updated almost weekly until the full release on January 23, 2019. Version 2.0 was released on January 14, 2020, which included many added relics, potions, and most importantly, the fourth character.

Thanks to Stephen for the Friends mod that I use at the end of the video.

The thing that made the big difference for me in the guardian fight was taking a clothesline and then upgrading it (I did have to reload once though). I got lucky in being able to pretty much always be able to play it on turns when I didn't need extra block and so that constant weaken canceled out the lethality. We perfected pretty much the same number of elites, some of these elite fights were basically unwinnable with lethality. For the bronze automaton fight I was able to survive the first hyperbeam which gave me enough time to kill before the second one. My deck was pretty heavy with block cards and one of the minions stole my genetic algorithm who I then timed to kill when he was hyperbeaming. We both had the 10+ dex in the time eater fight but I think my deck just had far more block cards. Oh looking back at that time eater fight I realized I didn't go for pauper so I had an omniscience that I used to double play an upgraded buffer which allowed me to tank some of the hits from time eater. Also had a floor 21 apotheosis which probably helped perfect bosses 2 and 3.

1026 - I enjoyed this run overall, though it didn't go particularly well. I had a lot of strength and damage, but not enough to just one turn win, and not enough block to perfect with lethality. had to reload the automaton fight a bunch to survive - but finally beat it on the hyperbeam turn.
Only 1 elite perfected, and no bosses. Time eater i only had 20 block vs. 30 damage on turn 1 (took philo stone and snecko) took an immolate but removed it in act 3.
tungston rod was huge - would not have survived without it.

somehow perfected all Bosses with a turn one kill for timeeater but struggled with elites, only 3. Also didn't get curses, only managed 4 and one of them was a duplicate which i had to remove. Rare card helped today.
