hi how do i find witch side is correct + and - when replace the new Diaphragm is cause i removed the dead Diaphragm to go to a store they did not have i encomend but not arrived yet now idk witch side is correct any way to find out?
I have a mackie srm450 v1,like yours. What is the size of the coil that you replace,and the wattage of the tweeter so i can buy a replacement..thanks a lot. From Philippines..

I have the same problem and just about to order a replacement tweeter However a few sites seem to be saying there are two different ones according to the age/version of the SRM450. Could you please just let me know, roughly how old is this particular SRM450 and is it one of the 'Made in China' ones or the 'made in USA' ones, so that I can figure it out. As you will have guessed, I also need to order an extra long screwdriver so can't yet see it to check inside mine :)

Anyway luckily my tweeter coil was still checking out as about 6.6 ohms, but had come unstuck from the dome itself. I got my superglue out and it's working good as new! At least until the new coil arrives. All the best from George in Scotland.
Filming taking the screws out would have been useful. I have SRM350v1 that a horn has blown and can't get inside yet. I have taken 16 screws out already but can't open it
Thank god they had the insight to put that seal in to make sure that no outside debris could get in anywhere beside the porting of the woofer…
does it matter if you place the connections backwards as you did in this video?

There were two different styles of SRM450's The ones made in China, And the italian made ones, The ones that I have are the Italian made ones....

where did you get the high frenqu driver ?
There are 17 screws on the V2s two of them are shorter than the rest. Which holes do they go into for re assemble ?
Bottom left and bottom right are the two shorter ones.
