I've noticed a lot of you asking about the potentiometer. I'm sorry I have not replied before but I just saw these comments. The reason I did not mention where I got it from is because the owner of the speaker acquired the part and it was relatively easy to track down online. I will reach out to him and see if we can remember where he got it from. However I do not remember it being a difficult part to find. The specifications for the potentiometer were googled through the model number and we purchased one online. If I'm able to get the specific model number and where to get it from I will add it to the video and post it in the comments.

I have SRM 450 v2 that will not power on. I have checked the power cable it has power going to the unit, but no light comes on. i have checked the small fuse it is good. any thoughts?

Any one knows what the negative and positive on a Mackie SRM 450 does a bump bump sound when power on the amplifier and you retouching a negative and positive wires on the speaker?

you don't have to take all the screws from the ic's just the few on the back and the heat sink will come out also.

i like to take them all the way down and off screen i check everything to make sure every value is in correct specs. being thorough pays off in electronics so that you do not replace one piece that is bad and have it redamaged by something else that is bad.

Hi Dr.John Griggs . Last Sunday I've GIG. From beginning Both Active SRM450 V1 Works Very Good, but second half of party - strong noise came from both speakers! Any ideas why it happens! Please! Kind Regards DJ MarkoPolo

I need to know more specifics about your setup. If both speakers started making this noise based off the information you've given me I would say you need to start at the source. What is giving the speakers their signal.
