The planes are not clean and god knows what is on those carpets and lavs. For that reason I would never travel in shorts either! Those cabin seats are rarely cleaned. You would no believe the “accidents “ that happen on those seats.
I can't begin to emphasize how much your content throughout the years has helped combat a lot of misinformation about skin care and skin issues, has helped so many of us figure out our skin care (and saved our pockets from unnecessary expenses), and has made reliable dermatologic information accessible to many. What are your thoughts about wearing and reapplying spf while traveling on airplanes? I saw a few tiktoks claiming that 1 hour on a plane can expose you to uva rays equivalent to 20 minutes on a tanning bed because of the windows and higher altitude. I thought it seemed excessive because I thought they would put uv protection on the windows. I would love to get your insight on this topic! Thanks :) Congratulations btw :)🎉
Windows in the passenger cabin are made of three layers of plastic & are highly effective at blocking both UVA and UVB, ensuring passengers are not at risk. Reapplying sunscreen is probably not necessary in flight, aside from if you are going to be going outside when you land, then you may want to reapply before landing
I agree with you , about walking on airport floor!! 🤢 I also wear sneakers with low cut socks. Sketchers slip on’s, come in handy when you have to remove your shoes!! Have a great trip! 😊

The bottle of face lotion you’re using reminded me of the Neutrogena oil free sensitive skin face lotion that I used all the time but they discontinued it and I’m not happy. My skin is very temperamental and I had finally found a lotion that worked and didn’t irritate my face. I tried the Neutrogena Hydro boost gel cream but I don’t like that texture. I prefer more of straight lotion…so any suggestions for lotion type moisturizers that are oil free, fragrance free and if possible alcohol free would be greatly appreciated! ❤
Well I just checked the vanicream face moisturizer I love and it has squalane. I know that’s an oil but that lotion feels super light and moisturizing. Oil free moisturizer is tricky!

I have been so thankful for sunglasses at airports twice! I dropped/broke my favs at the airport and would have been without heading to Cancun and the last time I mistakenly left them on the seat of the car that drove me to the airport, and I still have and love both pairs!

The fast lane is a life changer! I cover feet and legs it grosses me out sitting on airplane seats and airport seats.
